Why is this not sticky yet? Is this not why many of us are here, at least to some degree? That is the most inspirational post I have read in a long time. I have not read, or heard and of Mr. Rollins' spoken word, I have seen him in concert and he played with more emotion and vigor than I have seen (I have also seen RATM, who were very powerful). I am definitely going to go and find more of his Mr. Rollins' spoken word after reading that. He seems like a very genuine, and very intelligent person.

I suggest getting the books. The CD's are more comic/ comedy. But if you buy The Portable Henry Rollins.. or Soloplist.. you will be happy. The CD's are awesome.. I must say.. I have all of them. His music is pretty crazy.. but nothing like the spoken word stuff.

I really like HR. He is very well spoken and presents a very down to earth viwe on a lot of topics. He is a no-bullshit kind of guy and I really respect that kind of realness in today's plastic society.
