“Hemp oil is well-balanced, with omega-3 and omega-6 in a good ratio and contains gamma linolenic acid as well. Hemp seed oil can be used over the long term to maintain a healthy EFA balance without leading to either EFA deficiency or imbalance.… Hemp seed oil contains omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids in an ideal long-term ratio of 3-to-1.”

I have a hard enough time explaining flax, never mind telling people the bennifits of hemp oil..hahaha

Only problem is, most people get plenty of omega-6 as is. Not any need to supplement with it. I think fish oil--preferably one that is molecularly distilled to rid it of PCBs--which contains only omega-3, is a much better choice. I take about 6 fish oil caps a day. You can also get about 3g of omega-3 from a can of sardines, but I'm *really* sick of them, and most people don't like 'em period.

I keep reading that hemp is much better than flax...

it has a better balance of omega 3s to omega 6s than
flax does...

anyone have opinions?
