The funniest shit I have ever seen.

Ok my buddy burning_inside told me to post this story that happened to me and a few of my friends about 4 yrs ago. Here goes.....

I live in PA and one day two of my friends and myself decided to take a road trip to Baltimore to check it out. We've never been there and heard that Inner Harbor was pretty sweet. We get down there and I guess we took a wrong turn and ended up in the slums of Baltimore. Well let me tell you some crazy shit down there.
There wasn't a white person for 50 miles. Since myself and one of my friends were white we defly felt out of place. My other friend being black. We go to a McDonald's to get something to eat and I saw there was like a Special for "spicey fried chicken". I was like, "wtf i never saw that at McDonalds". We walk in and everyone in the place just stops and stares at us. We got scared and left before we got killed or something. We needed to use a phone so we could call one of our friends who went to college down there so we stopped at a grocery store. The place was jammed with people and once again they all stop to check out the white boys. I hurried up and used to phone and we got out of there. We start driving away and most of the streets were jammed with people outside on the sidewalks and stuff. It's like 7pm on a sat and i am serious there was like 200-300 people on a street, all chillin out.
As we drive around we see some restaurants that have ads for value meals. I swear to you there was one that had all fried chicken and 40s as a value meal. Almost every restaurant we passed it showed "Fried Chicken special" or "fried chicken and a 40 for $2.99" Even a god damn drug store was advertising their 40s.
Well it was some crazy ass shit that i will never forget. Anyone else have some funny shit to talk about??

Me and my parents were driving close by the "black" area in our city. Well on one corner there was a older white guy selling watermelons from the back of his truck. Let me remind you this was in the ghetto so-to-speak.

I thought that was funny. Of course I was young so my parents had to explain what was so funny/stereotypical about it.

I have a similar story. When I was about 14 I was introduced to pot. (Me and a buddy had scored our first dime bag, and our first smoke ever, about a week before this event.) Anyway, he knew a dude from school who was going to pick us up to sell us a bag. Here we are, two skinny white kids waiting outside when a 1970s Caddy with blacked out windows, gold rims, and a booming system rolls up.

When the door cracked open, thick blue smoke rolled out. We got in. There were four blazed up brothers in the car, three of them sporting shower caps and at least one with a mouth full of gold teeth.

We had no idea where we were going.

We arrived at "the other part of down" which was basically a ghetto. We followed these guy's into the basement of a public housing unit where we gathered in a small room already filled with 6 more black guys mid bong session. Needless to say silence took the room and all eyes were on me and my companion.

I was pretty damn uneasy, but it was fun as hell. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

I come from a 100% white neighborhood that borders a 75% black neighborhood, so I've been in many situations where I was the Minority but I never felt like you just explained.

i have friend whos white went to san clemente? for a day -i forget where exactl, kinda nor cal begins with san. I am not making this shit up. Virtually all of my interactions with Black people in Baltimore city were negative. I have been mugged twice and fucked with countless times. Two girls that I was friends with in high school were raped at gunpoint by blacks. The liquor store down the street from me was robbed by blacks while I was working there. The bank down the street was robbed by blacks while my mom was inside. I have witnessed countless acts of black on white racism, but not a single act of white on black racism. Call me biased or whatever but these are the facts. I am not racist. One of my best friends is black. But if I wanted to join the clan I think it would be understandable.

I have a half brother who I hadn't seen for over 15 years until recently when he and my mom found me through the internet. He was involved with gangs (a straightedge martial arts gang of all things at one time also) for a long time all the way up from age 15 to 22 or so. I must make you aware of a place that pehaps you have never been to. Maybey never even heard about. It is a little city down in Georgia called Atlanta.

I am sure that we have some Atlanta folks here, some of them are black guys. I am almost sure that Atlanta not only rivals, but will actually compare to DC in the % category. But due to the fact that the city of Atlanta is bigger than DC, I am willing to bet there are more black folks here in Atlanta.

On another note, I have lived in Atlanta for a LONG time. I am not what you would call a culturally hip kinda guy. But I have been down in the ghettos of Atlanta in my truck(with a confederate tag on the front and a cowboy hat), on a BMX bike, on a skateboard and on foot. I have never been harassed because I was white, looked at funny.. yes. But never harassed.

My husband spent 6 weeks in Baltimore last summer. he said it was a very poor city and quite violent. I think if it's obvious you are not local then you risk getting a beating in that kind of place. my buddies friend was meeting us in columbia in missouri, he was coming down from st louis for his birthday(he is black). so we met him outside this bar that he wanted to go to. anyways, I thought it was kind of weird because there were all these ghetto rides in the parking lot, and we get up to the door, and there are these 4 black guys padding people down looking for weapons. me and my buddy were so high it was unbelievable, i was getting scared because i didn't know what to do, i felt like they were messing with me, because the dude padded me down like 3 different times while i was standing there, i didn't know what to think. so we finally get in, and low and behold, it was an all black club, all we see are these white eyes, and being high, this scared the shit out of me, i don't think i could have gotten closer to my buddies friend(the man of color) so i'm looking around this place, and i notice they have pick nick benches as seats, and they have a buffet line full of water melon, chicken, slaw, the works (no bullshit). later on, after pigging out, i look over at my buddy, and his eyes are bright red, looking all over the place super fast, like he had to watch his back, it was so funny. but i will tell you right now, it was like a different world, it seemed every style of clothes went in there, pink cowboy hats to green leather pants. crazy. and the whole time. this dude is just laughing at us, saying, LOOK AT THE WHITES

Well here i'll tell you what I live up right near Detroit Michigan which was the murder capital of the world a couple years back. My friend who is a police officer works in the 11th presinct which is all black and they had their 68th murder in his presinct back in november this covers from 7mile road to I think its 10mile this is a area of less than 50miles. I will take you up in detroit and drop you off on grand river avenue, you chill with the homies and I will come back in the morning to pick you up, if your not at the morgue first. Actually I know about Atlanta. There is (or at least was a couple years ago) actually a steady migration of blacks from DC (and maybe other parts too) to Atlanta because there were more, better jobs, and a lower cost of living. I know several brothers and sisters that moved to Atlanta for those reasons.

Between that and seeing stuff about Atlanta during coverage of the NBA All-Star game, I do know that Atlanta has a very significant population of blacks. Maybe blacks now make up the majority in Atlanta. I don't know. As far as absolute numbers, sorry, I din't realize this was a pissing match.
