Why is it that many woman, both in friendship and romantic relationships play the "get to close push you away game". Then of course you back off or, ignore them and they won't leave you alone? Just curious your thoughts.
Sometimes I just feel the need to have someone slap me in the head for even talking to woman like this. Worst part about it is that you have no way to tell if you have a woman like this before you get to know them, then it is just to damn late because you are a part of their stupid ass game!

I think the reason women will get close and then push you away in platonic relationships is because of their fear of the guy wanting it to develop into a sexual relationship when the women only want friendship. When you show disinterest, that fear subsides and they realize that you might actually be a decent person, then they will pursue you again...for friendship. After they figure out that you are a good person, then they want you for sex as well (if they're single)...it's human nature.

In general, I like to talk to and be friends with guys more than women, but because of sexual tensions I usually avoid the situation. When I was a kid, most of my friends were guys, but then when I was a teenager, the boys hormones took over their brains and hearts and they turned into different beings. I think that as guys mature, the go back to being more like they were when they were little boys. In general, guys from their teen years through their early 30's are the ones I have the most problems with...mid 30's and older they're cool again. There are a few exceptions though.

First, when trying to analyze what women are thinking, you must come to one conclusion... women don't know what they are thinking 90% of the time. By this, I mean, when they say something, they aren't even aware of what they are saying... when they do things, they aren't even aware of what they are doing. It is true women want what they can't have... when you get close, they can have you... when you back off... they can't... but it is far more deep than the simple undertones.

Analyzing women's thought patterns is much like putting together a 100000 piece jigsaw puzzle that is missing half the pieces... not even women can do it. Don't feel bad if you can't. The safest and most effective way to deal with a woman is to let her bounce around like the flakey ball of crap that she is and then when she settles into a groove, you take over. I have been pondering the subject a lot lately.


Alas...still, I have no answers.


Face it...women like to chase as much as they like to BE chased....it's natural...neithe men nor women want anything that is too easy to get. We all want to work for it.

That said.....

Sometimes it is just a mind-fuck technique to string you along.

Other times ....if they are late 20's and younger - they don't know what the fuck they want. So..it's nothing personal.

There are a few cases where they are literally looking for their heart again due to damage done in previous relationships. It makes it difficult for them to be close to you...and when they find themselves doing it...they emotionally and physically withdraw again. It's not done to intentionally hurt YOU as much as it is a preservation attempt for themselves.....a friend once said it is like a spooked mare.

Be patient, make no sudden moves...when she is ready she will come.

I don't seriously screw people over, nor do I play head games. Yes, I was dating 2 girls for several months recently, but the one I didn't like as much, I kept my distance from her and she could sense it, but decided to stick around anyway. I agree 100%. I didn't mean bodybuilders are necessarily superior as whole (although some may be, others definitely not), but I meant physically superior (which is what bodybuilding is about - having the best body you can "create"), which, in turn, is good for the initial attraction, and makes it easy to "get your foot in the door" with someone else because of this, and meeting new people. Perhaps I should have said it more clearly the first time.

For the record, although I have dated some nice-looking girls, I personally have never dated any girls who were "superior" physcially, as in any who weight trained.

It's not true that American women are automatically worse than their foreign counterparts; I've dated plenty of non-American women who were screaming cunts.

That being said, I discriminate against American women, because they so often display characteristics, including, but not limited to, the following:

1) Loud, rude and crass without being any fun;

2) Ignorant, boring and uncultured with no ideas, opinions or curiosity;

3) Two-faced, lying, manipulative, controlling (duh);

4) Snobby and arrogant while lacking in both self-esteem and compassion for others;

5) They pitch their voices in shrill nasal tones that sound like nails on a chalk-board. This gets worse as they get older and is compounded by the god-awful accents some of them have;

6) They get fat;

7) They age badly. Once they get hitched, when they hit 28 or the 2nd kid whichever comes first, they hit the Haagen-Daz, get a lesbian haircut, and wear sweat pants, chunky sweaters and a pair of canvas shoes for the rest of their fat-ass life;

8) It doesn't matter how crazy she was in her youth, at age 28 or the 2nd kid she starts acting like her shit comes out in plastic bags and she's some kind of saintly figure engaged in a holy war against fun wherever it may be found. That's why I always find a 19 yr chick with a bunch of tattoos so fucking funny;

9) They tend to have no sense of humor, they don't know something is funny unless there is a laughtrack and it involves the misfortune of others, and then they laugh like a hyena being disembowelled and show all their fillings. Because of this lack their mouths become thin-lipped and eventually pursed into a expression of permanent disapproval, that's why so many middle aged american women have a face like a pitbull licking shit off an electric fence;

10) Crap in the sack; hate to admit they enjoy sex because it would interfere in establishing a transactional dynamic in the relationship and reduce their bargaining power.


That's all that comes to mind right now. But there's plenty more I didn't get to.

It's not men...

It's experiences from childhood on, things you witness growing up and the witnessed behavior of our parents. You learn a lot by example and bad behavior, man or woman have witnessed and repeated without consequence.

Hope that makes sense.

It nature, nurture and envirmental factors, so different cultures will create people with different beliefs and attitudes.

Maybe sometimes people just like the idea of knowing that someone's there, but if you get to close they push you away. They seem to forget how it feels to be on the receiving end. This applies to both males and females.
