WHATS your HOBBY???

people are curiuos individuals.

this can be especially seen when we show to others or tell others about our hobbies.

so whats yours:confused: :)
 
I don't know if you consider it a hobby but I like detailing cars. It brings personal satisfaction to me to take a vehicle someone hasn't cared for and make it look presentable again.

My hobby is to get rid of every ape-like man until I am the only one left, this way all the women in the world are mine and for the choosing. :evil:
 
Hmm?

drawing and juggling , detailing?

both hobbies that require a medium that functions as a pallet for what you are feeling.


human creativity curiuos isn't it?

it almost as if we 'need' something to funtion as a medium to display to ourselves or to others how we feel......

I wonder if thinking is a hobby....

no seroiusly thinking for the sake of thinking...the only problem is that no visible medium is required
 
Island Son....that was very interesting....lol. I can only juggle two balls but I don't think that is considered juggling.

Mostly i just like to learn new things. But i also like to paint, write poetry, take pictures. i also like to play with sand (like with those zen sand gardens) and think.

Funny, I just read this. I guess I think of it as a hobby since it's one of my favorite things to do. :D
 
My hobby is writing in my journal...I dont have much time to myself and I find writing theraputic at times. Other than that, I dont really have one. Hmmm..is that a problem?:confused:
 
aside from weights and kung fu.....

not much! used to shoot a lot but access to firearms is far too hard over here nowadays

play football, used to play cricket a lot but no more recently :( same with snooker and pool

no....i dont think the NRA will let em

after dunblane (scottish town where psychotic PE teacher killed 2 class fulls of toddlers and infants i.e.9-11 year olds with pistols from a gun club before shooting himself) an organisation called the snowdrop foundation was formed. they made it illegal to own a handgun type firearm in this country, 0.22 included. as a result any competitive shooting of handguns effectivly became V.hard. i have never shot a handgun in this country

it had a knock on effect in that any shooiting was stigmatised. my school had a rifle range, so thats where i learned how to shoot rifles and got all my weapons training, but as soon as i left shool it was very hard to find a place to shoot. there arent many places in britain where i can shoot, and they are far away and open at late hours. consequently i gave it up :( i wasnt too shabby at it either. im sure i can pick it up again if i get the opportunity, i just dont see it happening

How come your not playing cricket any more?...I wish i could but i was made to give it up.

i used to play for a reigonal team but was forced to give i up due to too much work (and me being wuite lazy at that age i guess too)

i used to play for school, but when i left, so did my cricket days. no time, or team to play for now, so i just amuse myself playing with friends every once in a while

I wish i could just do that, well i still can bat but i was never any good at that anyway. I used to play for the country schools, not sure if thats near the same level as regional.

sounds better....do you mean national? i only used to play against other MCCA (or whatever that famous association is :) ) teams.....where the players would go from to play country level.

nah...it was for Glamorgan county schools ( only from the ages of about 13-16), then i had to stop. But a lot of my friends who played with me went on to that association I think. ( National Development Squad or something)
 
Working out, reading, music, computers......

Um...

I guess that's is. lol

I used to be able to shoot a mean game of pool (made some good cash at it too) but that was loooooong ago and I suck at it now. :(

I'm interested in a lot of other things -- motorcycles, snowboarding, skydiving....but my friends are a lame bunch and I don't have anyone to do that kinda shit with. Oh well.
 
cool :) i stopped playing reigonal by 16 too :( school level by 18

im sure if i batted now id be slogging all over the place.
 
I love to read. I love to spend my summers on the lakes fishing and enjoying the sun. I do a lot of needlepoint. It calms me down and takes my mind off of everything.

I also spend a fair amount of time trying to outsmart my ferrets.
 
I love to horseback ride, but hardly ever get a chance to do that anymore.

I also love to drive...stick some good music in....and just drive around looking at the scenery. It's beautiful here, and I never want to take advantage of that.
 
Lessee...

- Computers are still a hobby as well as a profession.
- I'm a toy collector.
- Home/car audio
- PlayStation 2/video games in general

there's others, but I've geeked enough here for one night.
