Was watching the "Thirsty Traveler" who was going around Ireland sampling beer & I started wondering who actually invented beer & if it was an accident? Wasn't it monks or something? Not sure....

I mean did they leave some honey & water outside accidentally & it got fermented so they decided to taste it & found it tasted good? Hmmmmmmmmm

Also, who decided to eat the first lobster?? Or crab?? Did it bite someone on the foot so they decided to killl it by cooking it & then it smelled good so they decided to eat it??

Exactly!! They are kinda ugly so who thought to eat it?? I guess if you're a caveman or something you'd eat whatever you could catch hence catching them after getting bit on the toe....

Well lobsters do not crawl upon land often. I'm picturing some fishermen a couple thousand years ago, pulling one up in a net, and as they are all staring at this monstrosity, trying to decide what in the hell it is, one of them chimes in, "You know what Lothar? I bet you could eat that..." Actually I wonder if it was a dare or a bet.

Beer can be traced all the back to the Sumerians, if I am not mistaken. Which is about 5000 years.
