Never seen a movie about the apocalypse/nuclear war that made me actually dread it til I saw this flick. Apart from the opening and closing scenes it completely focuses on the interactions of a group of random people from an apartment trapped in a bomb shelter, eventually exposed to radiation. It goes to some extremes that wouldn't happen just anywhere, but I can see the point they were trying to make. If you can appreciate movies that pull no punches (not even for the ending) it's worth a watch.
