What a horrible movie. What is wrong with this world to let some dumbass like him even produce a movie. It was total debauchery. I stomached it for 10 minutes and then wanted to take it out of the dvd and shoot it as a skeet target.

If anybody found that entertaining they need to be put away in a mental institution. I yelled at my wife for even renting it.
 
curling I agree. I butchered it in my review the other month.

Rob Zombie has no business making films. he stinks. and the one before House of a 1000 Corpses was stupid as hell as well.

Dude, maybe yelling at your wife is one of the things that are causing marital problems. I never let my wife(now ex-wife) pick out movies, she always chose crappy foreignfilms. She even admitted she picked out crap movies and always defaulted to my judgement. :lmao:
 
The only way i will watch another Rob Zombie is if it stars Dakota Fanning and she screams as much as she does in War of the Worlds.

And they kill her.

AAP,

If you liked Kong because of Skull Island you need to rent the ps2 game. That is pretty much the whole game except you get to kill the monsters. The graphics are awesome.
 
I liked Skull Island because it was an entire little movie in it's own right. I would shoot a film about the NYers stranded on the rocks, the natives kidnapping the girl and they going back to rescue her, just like the King Kong film. It was like a mini movie in the movie.

I didn't like how they rushed back to the city after fleeing Kong and there were no natives at all there. They never explained that.
 
AAP, Did you read my comment about the PS2 game? I mean the critics of the game gave it like 9 out of 10. Plus they said if you play the game you don't even need to see the movie. The game is actually better than the movie. Even the chick in the game is hot hot hot.
 
Rob Zombie making films is like Betty Crocker quarterbacking in the superbowl

...or something like that.
 
My son, 21, really liked the movie but I'll be the first to tell you that boy ain't right.

I don't like watching horror. My idea of a good flick was "The Incredibles," (yes, my tastes are pedestrian, what of it!)

I keep hearing mixed reviews, BUT, more people have said that they liked it than not. I'll still watch it.

the incredibles was definitely cool. i wouldn't call devil's rejects a horror film, although you can cram it in that genre if you like. it was watchable, but nothing memorable. i liked william forsythe as the sheriff.

the best part of the movie was the soundtrack. the end credits were accompanied by this terry reid song called 'seed of memory' (never heard of him until then) and that song is great.
 
One of the better movies I've seen in a while. It's good to see a film maker with some balls out there, refusing to follow the cookie cutter Hollywood formula.

not at all interested in seein' this crap. rather look at phycho instead.
 
I liked it. Definately disturbing. I had to stop eating my steak bomb at one point.LOL However i was entertained and thats why i watch movies so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Oh my son ain't right ... everyone who knows him will tell you. He's into Japanase horror ... uuuuggh. He'll bring his favorite movies when he comes to visit and he'll say "you gotta watch this, I'll tell you when to close your eyes, it's a great movie but you won't like when this guy gets his teeth bashed out ... and this other guy gets his tongue cut off ... oh, and this chick gets her nipple cut off ..."
 
I liked this movie....its not a movie that will win an oscar, and its not suppose to be. It suppose to be complete and utter debauchery with no really purpose, and it did a great job of accomplishing this. BTW zombies wife is banging!
