Yeah, you can still smoke in DC and Bmore. I haven't heard of local laws going into effect for a smoking ban.

I'll pick up a couple of smokes myself after I get back to DC.

Wodin, are you sure you didn't find a spare spliff under the couch cushion?

Ffactor, in regards to my cigar, you're no fun anymore.

ttlpkg, I am also expecting gtrcivic and Nature Boy to show up. Maybe the Shadow if he can come down from New York.

If you guys know of anybody else from elite in the area, let em know. It would be cool to have a bigger crowd.
 
Right now, its weather dependent in if i can make it to Baltimore. Summer tires on a civic will be tough to drive in the snow, but as long as i don't bottom out, i'll see you guys there :D

You can bring your SO's if you like, but you might want to consider what subject matter the group could be discussing. If you and they are comfortable with that, then by all means, bring them.
 
I’ve always wanted to go to the zone. Do they have bouncers there? Somebody better tell them we’re coming. In my past experiences, these “meets” tend to freak people out when they see a bunch of jacked up giants coming through the door.
 
I am sure they have bouncers, and I called ahead to set up reservations, but the Zone only takes reservations for a set number of people. Since I don't know how many people are coming, then we'll have to do first come, first serve.

We could always meet at the bar, and if you are unsure, just have the waitstaff page the Broly family. It worked at the Dave and Busters meetup.

Well with the looks of the weather, i might not be able to make it to Baltimore. Already got 5 inches of snow today and maybe another 5 by noon tomorrow...

I intend to be there, hell or high water (or snow). I really don't want to put this off for another month.
 
Just spoke with Wodin on the phone, he and I will leave early, meet up, and cruise the rest of the way together...Hopefully the weather will give us a break...

Well I have two strikes against me; weather & a cold. Snow today, with more tomorrow, but hey, that’s why I bought my gas guzzling noxious fume spewing SUV. :p What’s bothering me most is this crappy cold that hit me like a brick starting last night. I swear to god I am so tired of people coming to work or going to the gym when they are sick, spreading their nasty germs around. My eyes are watering, runny nose, I’m sneezing. In general, I feel like shit. I’m taking some Nyquil and going to bed early with hopes that I’ll feel up to going out tomorrow.
 
Cool, I'm going skateboarding in the morning and hanging with my buds in the afternoon, this is going to be a great day!
 
I'm leaving right about now due to the road conditions, gotta pick up the old man(Wodin) and we'll cruise it the rest of the way together....Fucking roads are shitty!!!

We got hit pretty hard with snow here in the DC area, but it should taper off today. The roads look drivable, especially the highways. I plan on being there!

Ranger, did you ask the ladies at the podium for the Elite group?

ttlpkg and I had a booth set up for us, we were at the bar drinking beer, then they seated us. Lumberg and Ffactor made it, and Ffactor had said that you were supposed to pick up Wodin.

But we figured you guys found another fat spliff somewhere, and decided to smoke the afternoon away.

We had a good time. I left the group at around 9ish.

How late did the rest of you stay?
 
I got there at 3:15pm, really no one in the place at that time, hung out at the bar for a few, went upstairs played a few games, talked trash to a couple of chicks, and hung out for an hour or so...

Looked around for a group of guys, figured the weather kept most away...so I split and bounced at a club...I did stop off and checked out the Visionary Art Meusum around the corner...Pretty Neat.

I had on my Black, Leather Biker jacket(for work) Jeans, and long black hair....

Parking was a bitch though...Cost me 6$ for 2 hours...Shee-ut....

Which bar did you hang out at, the one at the front? Ttlpkg and I were at the bar inside with the big screen TV. I know we would have seen you, given your description.
 
I was there at 3. I was the tall black dude with the Texas ball cap. I wore my Texas cap just so I'd be easy to pick out in the crowd.

Sorry we missed you.
