The Brantford show..

should be a good show over all. I just want to know what the competitors are looking like this year.
 
I'm going to do that show next year, but not till then. The only guy I know who is doing it for sure is a blind dude, sounds kinda funny but the guy is pretty jacked

I'm 5'9" and if I dieted down now I would come in at around 200lbs, I'm hoping to put on at least another 20lbs this year and step on stage at at least 220lbs

It's a pretty good sized show, although I'm not sure how many competitors. We should have an elite section in the audience. maybe if Nathan starts working out he'll do the show with me next year

or at the very least an AC section.
 
I heard today that there are about five guys in the heavy weight devision so far. With most of them around the 200lbs mark.

actually there are a couple over 200lbs
 
When I went in to buy my tickets Athena was giving me a hard time about getting on stage for the better bodies amateur thing, it might be good practice before I walk away with it next year...

It's the confident ones that win, but in the end it all depends on who else is there that day. I would have stepped on stage at over 200lbs this year at under 5'9", which I figure would have placed me well anyway. But with another year, I figure I'm good for at least another 20lbs, so 220lbs at my height for a level 1 show, I think I stand a decent chance

Not so much scared, but not sure of what level it would be. I also really do believe the confidence thing is really important when getting up there, while I'd do fairly well now, I'd be a lot more confident with those extra pounds

you mentioned eariler that you new of one guy competing. How's he looking?
 
The blind guy that's doing the show, as of 2 days ago he was 238lbs at 6%, so he's a big bastard, but it's hard to tell how his symmetry looks. Considering he's blind and is easily the strongest guy in my gym, I'm impressed already

How tall?
 
I'm guessing around 6'. I watched him bench one day, 385lbs for clean sets of 6-8 reps, then on to the 140lb dumbells for sets of 8, he's a freak all right, I cant wait to see him on stage, blind or not, it's still pretty impressive
 
I have never gone to a competion before so seeing the competitors and cutler should make for an entertaining night.

Not to mention the figure competion...

I don't have time to work out what with all this espionage work I've been doing lately for the Ruchard Simmons Fan Club. Don't ask. Anyways, I'll try and get my ass in gear bro. :) I'll come in in a weight class under you I suspect though. Light heavies I anticipate. Everyone always seems to lose way more than they plan so I'm planning to have a lot of lee-way.

That'll be funny, but my money's on her...

Nathan, you're sitting at 220lbs right now fairly lean with a year left, I think you'll come in over 200. Apparently the heavies start at 180lbs anyway

yep the heavy starts at 180. I know there will be couple guys around that weight (under 200).

The show was fucked, the blind guy Chris was probably 2nd best out of the whole show, and they didnt place him in the top 3 of his class, I was pissed!!! The only good decision they made was giving that middle weight the overall, he looked incredible!!!
I didn't do the hotbodz as I'm a chicken shit, I'm sitting at about 9-10% right now, too fat to drag my ass up there. Plus, Athena called out the names of my buddies who I was sitting with, but not mine, so I boycotted her ass!
 
I totally agree Chris should of placed top three easy...botton line. He had an incredible routine. the crowd was so into iit.. But fuck that's how it always, goes. The crowd can always place top three, but the judges find a way to fuck it up

The middle weight competitor Ricardo, was fucking amazing. he weighed in at 168...wow. He conditioning was amazing.

Cutler put on a great presentation as well

Figure girls looked great, but they were a waste of stage time.

ummm, I'll think of more comments in a bit, I have to eat.

Thanks for the pics. I'm not so intimidated anymore. Might do it. I'd like something a biut earlier in the seasonthough, around July/August cause I might not be around this time next year. We'll see though. Maybe I can do both...that sounds much less appealing. Anyway, I'll keep on ya Needsize to push yo ass and please do the same to me. :)
