The Bourne Identity

I saw it this afternoon. I went in not interested whether or not some trick was possible- I just wanted to be entertained. The theater wasn't crowded like I expected. I thought since it is cold and rainy here everybody and their grandparents would fill the movies.

I won't give anything away. I will not spoil it for anyone who wants to see the movie. What I will say: as a fan of the Bond style of spy flicks, don't expect Bourne to be cracking wise. Just the kicking ass part of the role.

The "Bourne" novels are among Ludlum's best, namely Bourne Identity. I also enjoyed Scorpio Illusion.

I saw it today at the 1PM show and it was PACKED. Not an empty seat to be found. Great movie.

What I didn't get was when he was in the house and sent the man and kids to the basement, how did he know the sniper was out there?

It's just like in all the horror movies: When someone or something is coming the dog knows it first. When the dog goes out to investigate, it gets killed.

Yeah, he knew somebody was up to no good. They could not find the dog, and the guy that lived there said that ne never ran away before, so it was odd.

Great movie. Believe it or not el cubano, Damon pulls it off nicely. Very slick flick.

X2, the sequel to X-Men, has started production in Canada, with Brian Cox (The Bourne Identity) playing chief villain Stryker, the Victoria (B.C.) Times Colonist newspaper reported. A new teaser Web site for the upcoming film has also gone live.

Victoria's Hatley Castle will stand in for Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, where Professor X (Patrick Stewart) presides over the education of young mutants, the newspaper reported. The film will reunite the first film's cast with newcomers that include Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler and Kelly Hu as Stryker's assistant, Yuriko Oyama. Shawn Ashmore will play Iceman and Aaron Stanford will take on the role of Pyro, the paper reported. X2 opens May 2, 2003.
