The Bomber Jacket

Chicago gets cold as balls in the winter and I was gonna order a jacket to be there for when I get home. I found this bomber jacket but am getting mixed reviews. I think it looks badass, but is it really lame as hell? And if so... any better ideas on a good winter jacket?

I dont mind the lining in that bomber but the leather is soo out of style bro. It just looks cheap which it is not. I would go with something deer skin with wool lining. I have one that is a little longer than the one you have pictured there and it is brown. They are a little fancier lookin that the bombers.



I also have a wool peacoat like crypt stated. Mine is like this one I got it a couple years ago it is warm enough for me on most days.

bomber jackets, like rayban aviator sunglasses, have stood the test of time and fickle fashion trends. unlike some of the crapppppppppp out there now; 5 or 10 years from now your bomber jacket will still look good on you.

That is actually not *that* bad of a bomber jacket. You can get away with it. I rock the pea coat with some layers and a nice scarf...NY gets pretty cold as well.

heh, i used to rock my dad's old navy peacoat because i saw everyone with em. i thought that trend went away in favor of the northface jackets.... which are nice but don't cut it even with layers.

For casual to dressy casual, I think men look very handsome in peacoats. They have a classic, natty look, w/o ever looking remotely gimmicky or pretentious.
