Anyone who forgets or does NOT believe for ONE SECOND that these boards are "watched" by DEA or exhusbands... WHATEVER is either A) deulusional B) mentally deficient.

If I tell you that when I went to court (just one of a string of times that my ex and I have been and I am sure will NOT be the last, sadly) his lawyer submitted a BINDER as thick as The Bible on 8 1/2 x 11" sheets I am NOT exaggerating! I am sure that he printed out EVERY single post of mine with ANY adult language, content, whatever... but I AM SURE he negated ANYTHING that had ANY redeeming NON ADULT, NON CONTROVERSIAL verbage. So I printed out my own little book of posts.

In the end the judge got EXTREMELY annoyed with my ex's lawyer. He asked her point blank, "Is there ANYTHING in here that will change my ruling.... AT ALL?!" AT first she tried to interject, "But it is evidence supporting..." The judge cut her off, "IS THERE ANYTHING IN HERE AT ALL THAT WILL CHANGE THE WAY I RULE?!" Of course, her answer was FLAT OUT, "no."

Conversely, it wasn't too long ago that DYFUS actually showed up at the home of one of the mods because some stupid pimply-faced internet ASSHOLE with too much time on his hands MADE A RIDICULOUS ALLEGATION that she sexually molested her son...

So, guess what? Though this is cyberspace and there is some sense of anonymity. Anyone with even A LITTLE BIT of internet savvy CAN FIND YOU.

If you do NOT want REAL TROUBLE then USE YOUR HEAD BEFORE YOU USE YOUR FINGERS!

If I had A DIME for everytime one of my ex's friends tried to bate me with THE MOST RIDICULOUS BULLSHIT I would have been able to thumb my nose at him a long time ago.....

I hid NOTHING from the judge. I even brought a private artist nude that I did pose for that my ex rifled through my computer to find... don't feel the need to disclose what he did with it as it would portray him in an extremely negative light and this brings me no pleasure. Suffice it to say, it didn't matter in the end. At the end of the hearing I was awarded FULL CUSTODY, the house, the car, and he had to pay ALL the bills and weekly support in addition (I NEVER asked for ANY OF THOSE THINGS, but only that he be removed from the home that I be protected. I NEVER kept the children from him and let him have the them WAY ABOVE what the courts allowed.) Several weeks after this we again returned to court and custody was shared (as I offered it) and because my lawyer screwed up and didn't bring my earning statement I was told to pay all the bills with the exception of the mortgage and water/electric. So there I was with a ton of debt (he out and out refused to pay many of the bills and still does though they are legitimate marital debt) and NO REAL JOB.

But guess what? It WAS A GOOD THING! I did and continue to support myself AND my children with NO ASSISTANCE from him (Yes, I am NOT bitching because my children and I have a place to live which is A LOT MORE than MOST of the women in my situation have.) and this fact ALONE has given me the strength to carry on. I showed my girls and MYSELF that I DON'T NEED A MAN to take care of us and will continue to do so. I am no longer afraid of ANYTHING.

As for whether or not the judge thought I was beautiful or not is wholely irrelevant. If I was the selfish, cheating, conniving, neglectful whore that my ex tried and is still trying to paint me out to be, I wouldn't have gotten JACK SHIT. And even when I DO GET JACK SHIT it doesn't matter to me anymore.... I can get my own. All I care about is the well-being of my children. The rest is NO BIGGIE.

I think everyone is aware that, statistically, when you have a site as large as this.......... You will unavoidably have law enforcement officers on it..

HOWEVER, Having law enforcement officers as members is substantially different than having them as mods who threaten members.


I honestly cannot understand why a law enforcement officer would be allowed to be a mod... Especially when members often come to mods with questions that are not always within the bounds of the law.

I suppose all of your sarcasm and light heartedness would quickly dissipate if the shoe was on the other foot and you are being threatened. It is easy to make light of others when you, yourself are not the one being threatened.

Too bad that it has to come to that before you stand up and take notice.
