I really hope your kidding? Benzos are not safe while drinking. Alcohol potentiates the effects of Benzos like 10 fold!

Now for the good news! My fav benzo is Clonazepam.

They can be useful in SMALL doses 2.5-5mg,,,,NEVER drink alcohol with them!
 
do not drink on them you can throw up blood real easy or just not wake up. valium is very similar to xanax. i prefer valium as i dont' come off of it or feel like shit the next day if i take it late. klonopin is another great benzo as it is mild but keeps the stress level down.

klonopins are good. They don't make you so drowsy that your workouts are hindered.
