What are your favorite Beatles songs? I'll get some more mp3s soon. What would you recommend, according to your own tastes? The more obscure (b-sides, songs that get less play, etc...), the better.

I remdember tripping so hard one day that I had to shot off the Yellow Submarine video. That dude with the antennae's was freaking me out.

I like way too many to list. Specific favorites are Happiness is a Warm Gun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Taxman. Yes I'm a huge Harrison fan, but I also love Lennon's songs.

Anyone else get the new Let it Be... Naked cd? It's Let It Be, with one extra song (Don't let me down) from their rooftop concert, and it's all the original studio recordings. No Phil Spector "Wall of Sound" treatment. Personally I think it's great because it's more pure rock for some songs, and all of the songs seem more intimate instead of over-produced.

most of the ones y'all have mentioned are good. i'm probably familiar with all (or most) of the hits, the kind that would be on a compilation CD, etc... i'm primarily looking for suggestions of songs that i haven't heard of.

what a coincidence. i was just thinking of this song, but didn't know the title. had to do a google on "he blew his mind out in a car".

yes, that is my kind of song too.
