Is anyone watching the California Recall Debate? Arnold is really bullying around the opposition....LOL.....GO ARNOLD :)

I'm watching it, Arnold is the man, I so badly want him to win. There selling Arnold for Governor T-shirts on ebay I defintly want to order one to lift in. Maybe its just me but does anyone else think that arianna huffington is the biggest bitch you've ever seen, she has some good lines sometimes but i absolutely can't stand her

if he doesnt win, i sure hope that porn star does(or even gary coleman...c'mon, what could bring more laughs):D

I always liked her when she appeared on Bill Maher's show. Other than that, I know nothing of the woman.

Arnold will more than likely win. I just hope that doesn't mean Terminator 4 is off. The third episode was excellent, and left me wanting more. Can't wait to see the post-apocalyptic world they create. If it ever happens.

People I talk to say that Arianna Huffington really blew it. The personal attacks against Arnold backfired and she sounded like a biotch.

I like Arnold's come backs. When he told Arianna that her tax loophole was big enough for him to drive his hummer through I hit the floor laughing. When she made a comment about his reported mis-treatment of women and making violent movies, his simply told her he has a pefect roll for her in Terminator 4.

This was the first debate I actually enjoyed. It was the best!

Listening to those two debating with their accents I thought I was watching a debate going on in another country.

The truth is that Arnold is really qualified and competent to be governor. I hate to see him campaigning because it's such a degrading process, but I don't think he'll lose his focus. He's accomplished so much in his life because of his incredible ambition and drive. He is without a doubt more qualified than 98% of the politicians out there. It seems that people greatly underestimate his intelligence unfortunately. I have much respect for the man, no matter the outcome of this election. Even as an immigrant, He truly loves and appreciates this country, more than most of the crybabies that were born in this great land. GO ARNOLD!!

Good point! This is a man that had $10 in his pocket when he came to the US, and he set his goals from the start and accomplished everything that he wanted to do. Most politicians that run for higher offices are spoon-fed through life.....and in a lot of cases a family member is in politics. It would be nice to have someone in office that is actually coming from outside of the "circle of politicians"

Of course... he had Joe Wieder and others completely supporting him in every way. No one gets anywhere without help along the way though. It is the fact that one needs to be on the ball enough that people recognize that and want to give a leg up.

Most people are not aware of how Arnie came up in this country and how successful he has been in every endeavor from BB to Real Estate. The man is a genious and one who set a plan in motion as a child and saw the whole damned thing to fruition. there have AlWAYS been people saying Arnold should or would get into politics. Even 20 years ago.

I thought his closing remarks were PERFECT. Appealed to the emotions and were from the heart. He is right, he does not need the shit politics brings and he certainly has not lived his life to be a politician.

He has always been my hero and I have been awed by his charisma alone. ACTUALLY, I secretly think I am in LOVE with him
:-)

Don't get me wrong, I think he's an amazing individual, and would probably be a good governor.
But he does have family in politics, he's married to a Kennedy.

Arnold did well defending himself. I think if AH hadn't been there he could have spent more time proving he is competent.

My favorite part was Bustamante showing how much of a disconcerned politician he really is. He talked to everyone like they were morons.

When Arnold told him he knew nothing of small business troubles, workmans comp and health care costs because he only signs the back of checks and never the front. I almost fell out of my chair laughing.

Lets not forget he has Warren Buffet as his chief adviser...the man is the 2nd richest person in the world...and made ALL his money from investing. If Buffet can't help Arnold get Cali out of debt no one can.

lets face it, its a very entertaining lil circus act going on in CVali, but the truth is Arnold wont win, he can't win. The governor will more than likely stay the same.
Arnold will come in 4th at the most.

on the news it said the did a poll and 1 in 5 voters in california were still undecided on who they were going to vote for. ...so the race isn't decided yet...plus arnold is already a front-runner in the polls..

no offense but you are obviously not following the race, McClintok is fading fast and Davis was gone from the get go....

...also, please spell check your sig....

...you need a little O'Reilly Factor in your life...

Arnold declined an offer to debate Gov Gray Davis. Gray has nothing to loss and Arnold is no one's fool. Maclintoc (sp?) is being pressured by the Rep party to throw his support to Arnold.

Bill Simon has endoursed Arnold.

There is little doubt that Arnold is the Rep front runner and the man to beat.

...you are right, the rep's are closing ranks fast.....

All the polls out are from "likely" voters, I believe that Arnold's turn out of unlikely voters will surprise everyone, just a theory....

Rather like the asshole the whitehouse, eh?

Arnie is an actor, period, his performance was funny with no real solution for the problems california is facing. You guys make way too much of him.

I thought he did a great job, exactly what he set off to do:

Look charming, witty and intelligent(?) and avoid the specifics of any of his sound-bites... er... proposals... entirely...

Arnold has molested several women apparently...

Do you think that is suitable behaviour for a politician?

OH PLEASE! What evidence do you have that even remotely supports such a wild accusation.

I think the momentum is definately behind Arnold. I think he will be the governor of CA when this circus ends. Whether or not he will be able to handle the job is up for debate I'll admit. He has quite a formidable task in front of him in "fixing" CA's finances. I certainly would not be bucking for the job. In fact, I have heard some prominant Republicans say that they hope he fails and either Davis or Bustemonte wins the recall. It is their opinion that CA is "unfixable" and whoever is in the governor's chair at the end of this term will take the brunt of the failure to "fix" CA's problems. The incumbant party will suffer the consequences and they hope that will be the democrats.

It's hardly a wild accusation.. he is a womanizer.. famous and not so famous women have publicly claimed he molested them....

I haven't heard anyone make any such accusation. If it were even a possibility, don't you think his political opponents would be jumping on it? I mean, wow, what a weapon. As far as him being a "womanizer", I haven't heard of him engaging in any extramarital affairs. Are there any made public by some reputable source that I am unaware of?

Even if some women have publically claimed to have been molested by him, does that make him automatically guilty? Is it possible that some people will claim anything to get attention or to hurt someone with whom they have a grievance. I know of a man that spent 12 years in prison for a rape he did not commit. The woman finally came forward and admitted that she wasn't raped so they let him go and dismissed his conviction. Can you IMAGINE that happening to you? Your whole life, family, career all ruined because of one person's lie.

Unless you have PROOF POSITIVE of such an allegation, it's better not to be spreading hurtful rumors. I would hate it if someone were to accuse me of that.

His opponents have already alluded to it..

Here's some evidence..
