I generally dislike Mssr. Buchanon, and though he may be right, it is an unfair evaluation. At the beginninng of WWII, it would have been well nigh impossible to foresee the end, the way it happened.

when Britian and France entered the fray he was forced to turn west and remove France,after which he hoped Britian would sue for peace. This is speculated as one of the reasons he basically allowed the BEF to escape at dunkirk.
If Germany hadn't invaded the USSR Stalin would have eventually invaded Germany. The war in europe was fought on the eastern front. A clash of titan's unmatched in history and likely to never be eclipsed either.
I've spent over 30 years of my life studying that conflict.

I guess you’ve all heard that I told a crowd of campaign donors that while I was running for President, I “felt like a nigger.” Everyone is upset with me.

All I meant was that while I was trying to get elected, the Democrats conspired against me and abused their power to prevent me from communicating my tempting message of rewarmed socialism and punitive taxation. After all, that was their platform.

Oh, and Robert Byrd actually CALLED me “nigger.” I went to him early in the campaign to ask for his support, and he told me he to stop eyeballing him and go iron some creases into his robe. Then he threw me out and said, “Eyes front when you walk past the white receptionist, boy.”

I don’t know why he thought I was black. I think it’s hard to see through those little eyeholes.

I guess I crossed the line. We all agreed a few years back that “nigger” is a word white people and Clarence Thomas aren’t allowed to use, even when talking about the word “nigger.” At the moment, the proper terms are “N-word” and “N-bomb,” but I don’t think that’s good enough. I think the letter “N” is, itself, just too inflammatory. So starting tomorrow, I’m going to say “letter-after-M-word.” Or maybe just “Byrd word.”

Can I still say “hebe”?
