the only reason for it to be posted in the chat forum is if you intended invoke the support of the masses to aid in your bid for mentorship. which can become a pain in the ass for the administration to deal with, not mention the fact that you're undermining the process

when one questions in one thread why another was locked, well, that is not a good thing.

Feel free to PM why it was closed, but the reason this one was closed is self explanatory.

If you were ready to be a mentor you would know to PM the Mod or admin who closed the thread to ask "why" .
