Read an article today that the mortgage industry is making the largest hires out of anyone. At the same time, just tried to finance a new home purchase with 50% cash down. The information rrequirements were crazy. Came to closing and they were still asking for ridiculous items - had to pay all cash. Not sure how anyone actually gets a mortgage anymore.

The licensing requirements are pretty ridiculous in Utah and between the classes I'd need to take to get licensed, originating loans, and the time it takes to get them through I'd be looking at 3 months to get paid. I'm doing pretty ok right now, but I'd have to become a surgeon to make what I was before. I just need to get back in shape after my surgery next week. I'm a goddamn sloth right now.
