I wanted to thank you for all your help and that kick ass diet of yours. I swear to god I wake up everyday looking leaner and leaner, and I feel great, never tired. Muscles look full, veins popping out, and it is easy to follow. I dont even want to carb up cuz im doing so well, but I am anyways. But I wanted to thank you, and let everyone know that this diet will work if you want it too. It isnt hard either, get over eating too much fat and watch what happens.
 
Crum...can you help another brotha out here....ive read up on this diet and it seems as if everyone loves it...not to trouble you..but how would you set up my caloric intake on a daily basis....pro/fat/carbs....

im 6'4" 250. weights-4-5 times a week and cardio 4 times a week on empty stomach...thanks....
 
This seems to me to be a keto based diet exept you eat carbs after each workout. Am I right?

Protein 1-1.5g per lean bodyweight
fat .5-.75g per lean bodyweight
green veggies, as much as possioble.

Diet looks to be good, but I what about the fact that we need carbs to stay full and pumped? When I go on a keto diet, within 1 week I feel small and flat and weak! How is this different? Does having the 1 carb meal after each workout enough to keep you full and hard?

Read My diet log it has good info just multiply the ratios times ur bodyweight to figure out what u are supposed to eat, then look up what the shit u eat has in it and figure it out, It isnt latin, is it
 
hehe- I know the diet...

Im 6ft 230lbs 14%fat..

I may give it a run... I want to see my abs again... the older I get the harder it is to stay.

It is early April do it for 8 weeks and u will be a ripped monster by JUNE, think if you start on monday u can be at 6%bf by June 8

NOPE

FAT IS GOOD, I mean if you think about it, I get 20grams of fat from eggs, and that taste real damn good, sometimes I have 4 whole eggs, other times I have 3 whole eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon. I eat a good amount of steak, and If you have 2-3protein drinks with flax or olive oil u dont even taste the OIL. Just down the shake protein shakes arent supposed to taste good. :)

Why dont u like fat???? is there a reason?

Steak, PORK chicken, GOod stuff.
 
well I find in the morning I just crave some good clean food. Oatmeal and a shake or egg whites and fruit.

When ever I eat a big breakfast like eggs/bacon/sausage/potatoes/toast. I feel gross!

But yes.. I do enjoy steaks and hamburger. But you are right... protein with flax oil will make it easier... what about protein shakes mixed in cream? Thats must tast awesome... no carbs either.

But I think I will try this diet. Im just afraid of feeling flat with no energy. also is ALA needed for this diet?

I will say that low carb diets are not for everyone and you have to try it to see, but It can work for most people. If your cream has a high fat content and no carbs, add your protein powder, the cream, some sweet and low, maybe an egg white and whip in a blender, now we are talking a Mariange type drink,

i to have thanked crum, im using a variation of a toned down diet he posted. This is what im on now.

1) Oatmeal + shake or oatmeall with 3-4 egg whites.
2) 6inch turkey breast sub with lots of veggies, or 6inch chicken breast sub with lots of veggies.
3) post workout shake, 50g whey, 50g dextrose.
4) 2-3 pieces chicken breast with veggies or, 3-4 pieces of fish with veggies.
5) 1 8-10 ounce ny steak with veggies.
6) sometimes tuna with egg whites.

now im thinking of changing #2 to a tuna sandwich with veggies. Also now that my protein blend finally came, im thinking of having a shake in between meals and possibly changing the steak to an earlier meal, but thats gonna be very hard because the only meal before that is usually my post workout, and i cant have the steak early because im in school. Anyone have any suggestions for this diet? id appreciate it. Also if u can post some good fruits to be eating while cutting.

Lastly a little sidenote i usually do 20 mins of light cardio after my workouts, except leg day, should i take my 50g whey, 50g dextrose shake after my workout or should i be waiting 20-30 mins? Next week ill have glutamine tho and will be taking that right after the workout, just not sure about the protein.

6 Meals a day.

1) Whey/Small Bowl of Oatmeal or Meal Replacement Packet
2) Chicken/ Small amount of Brown Rice
3) Tuna Sandwhich on Whole grain bread with Light Mayo, lettuce, tomato, etcs.

4) Lean Steak/Veggies
5) Salmon or Tuna w/ Full Fat Safflower Mayo with Mixed Veggies
6) Whey/ Tablespoon of Flax or Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Notice that the first 3 contain protein and clean carbs, and the Last 3 contain protein and healthy fats.

Fats and Carbs are NEVER combined.

this is the one im talking about, the diet the other guys are talking about is crums original diet, in like a 30 page thread. Works very well from what ive read except i dont have the proper time the diet needs, between school and work right now, ill try it in the summer.
