Testosterone Replacement Therapy

I wanted testosterone replacement therapy, but the doctor wouldn't provide it for me, so I'm thinking of constructing my own program. My total testosterone was 388 at an age of 24 (also balding and have excess body hair). I have many of the symptoms of low testosterone.

I'm currently 5'10.5" at 200 lbs. and about 12% bodyfat. I've been working-out for about 5 years, and I've hit an apparent road-block during the last year.

Which test is best (E, C, or P)? How much and how often? I would prefer to use injectables?

I'm thinking of using an anti-E such as Nolva. How often should I ingest 20 mg tablets?

I'm thinking of also using HCG. How much HCG would you suggest? Should I cycle it?

I am thinking of also adding generic proscar. How will this affect my ability to add muscle?

You are very young to begin HRT. I would hope your testosterone levels are low due to another cause such as overtraining or past cycles.

Should you want to design your own, it is quite easy:

In answer to your specific questions:
- all test is the same. With c and e, you inject once a week, With p, twice.
- You'll be held to less than 125 mg ... more like 75.
- I use amiridex for anti-e. For HRT, 0.25 mg twice a week is all you need.
- HCG? No need.
- HGH fits in nicely at 1 iu eod.
- Proscar? Might be counterproductive. If you are going bald, accept it. It is genetic and any aas speeds it up.

Why do you think there is no need to maintain ophysiological functioning of testes? HRT is to replicate pnormal functioning as much as possible you need hcg to achieve this so yes do it and you will get much better results

I also believe in HCG for HRT. I also believe in Dr. Swale's protocols on TRT from allthingsmale.com along with many others. I even introduced my doctor to his protocols and he is now following them and using it for all his other patients.

At age 24 I don't believe TRT is for you just yet. And excessive hair doesn't mean low testosterone it will usually mean you have higher testosterone. I have never had much facial or body hair. I shave only my mustache and thats only once a week and I used to do it once a month. I am now 31 and have low test levels but I mainly contribute for taking some prohormones last year because before then I was just fine.

I would go see an endo if I were you if you aren't already seeing one. You might even wanna opt for HCG only to get your testes producing more test. Some docs will even tell you to masturbate regularly at least once a day to keep your testes working all the time. If you dont use it you lose it basically and it goes for everything.

I talked to my Dr about using HCG in the HRT program or using it exclusively.
He remarked that this was an old approach and much better all around results were being achieved in his patients base with the plan I'm on.

I'm not interested in more children and my teste's are of normal size.

How about we agree to disagree? If you are happy and seeing results, that is what is important. Same for me.
