According to a renouned US professor of pathology, TSH levels decrease with use of testosterone.
But the cause is not what you would think: it is actually a good thing.
Testosterone decreases synthesis of thyroid-binding globulin (TBG) in liver, as it diverts amino acids to synthesis of muscle proteins.
With decrease in levels of TBG, free thyroxine level increases. As activity of free thyroid hormone increases, it decreases the TSH release by negative feed-back mechanism.
