The private company I used to test for, no. But others like police dept. and other gov't types....maybe. Actually the local PD are telling me now that they in fact do test for gear....(but it seems rather impractical to me, too expensive)
no they do not test for gear. one, becasue it is very costly, and two, b/c it is usually unneccesssary. The only reason that they would test for gear is if someone was casuing a prob at work with rage/steroid related tendencies. as long as you arent getting into fight you will be fine.

Even if you were blowing up with size and throwing fits of rage(and they suspected "roid rage") they can't single out someone and just test them for gear usage...not unless they want to test every other employee at the company for it...discrimination baby! (Not that there aren'tways around that...I should know...
