Testim Gel - Lab Results

Guys,

Got my lab values back after 3 weeks on 5 gms. of Testim Gel applied in the morning. Base level before treatment was 168. Level after 3 weeks of treatment was 461. The symptoms I've been having of low energy, low libido, loss of strength, etc..... are fading fast.

Pre-treatment I was lucky to bench 235 for 4 sets of 5. I am now benching 280 for 4 sets of 5 and have even hit 315 for a couple of singles. Hope to be back up to 405 within 6 - 9 months. (Haven't seen that since 98) The kicker is my joints have no pain. When I would bench before my elbows always hurt, I feel no soreness now.

My doc says he hasn't seen such an increase in levels with only 5 gms of Androgel, so I guess the hype around the better absorption with Testim is true.

Good to hear bro. Wonder what the absorbsion rate is of this stuff. For Androgel, I think thier own literature states that only 10% is absorbed. So for the 100 mg per day pack, you would only get 10 mg per day into the blood or 70 mg per week. Most docs start you on the lower dosage stuff too......

Anyway, I've heard a few others say good things about Testim!

Transdermals

Transdermal gels are ok, mostly good for erectile dysfunction because of the high conversion to DHT but injectable test cypionate is still the gold standard for HRT. Good luck with your continued gains I am glad you are feeling good-- low test is no way to live!

Tried Delatestryl. Bloated me to no end. May try it again next summer though. Gel is a little messy when it's hot. I'm afraid of my 3 y/o daughter holding on when we're in the pool. So my doc said we could try it again.
