Testicular cancer survivor - one testicle, can he cycle?

Hey guys,

One of my mates a few years ago was diagnosed with testicular cancer - luckily for him it was removed in its very early stage of developement - as a result he has one fake nut and one other nut. He still produces the same level of testosterone etc it just has the good nut working extra hard.

He has been training for a while now - has a tall thin lanky build.
Body is conditioned with lots of sport and is fit.

All stats aside, the main question I'm asking is whether it is safe for him to do a cycle of sust 500/week.

My main concern would be whether he is at greater risk of not recovering or any damage to his remaining testicle.

I know alot of people will say it is not worth the risk etc but I was jsut wondering whether any of the vets could provide me with some actual facts and justify why.

Regards matey's

I will never give someone the advice to take anything after surviving cancer however I do have a friend
who had cancer of the testicles and he is physician prescribed testosterone.

he survived cancer for fucks sake i say he can do whatever he wants. cycle on

there are several factors that come into play here, first how long ago was this? next after answering that did they get it all? Next was Chemo involved?

after you answer that i can further advise you on what the next steps should be.

my bro has one nut and cycle...he didnt have cancer one nut didnt droped when he was a kid..but the doc said he could get cancer from radation exposur in iraq

He was lucky - no chemo - no long term treatment or medication. Just cut it straight out as soon as they noticed it and popped in a new one - then I saw him out clubbing 2 nights after the op!! ridiculous. The homeostasis your body would have to do to adjust to oen organ meant he should ahve been in bed for weeks.
It was about a year and a half ago and he has played competitive sports and training for the last month. He's pretty open about it and I guess the term 'survived' sounded like there was chemo and it was very bad. For cancer he didnt have it too bad.

Anyway - i think hes just worried if test will make him infertile in one nut then he has no back up. I told him if it you have 2 nuts it will make both of them infertile IF it was ever to get to that.... then mentioned the fact that I don't know anyone who has become infertile from cycling... (guess my mates are pretty responsible and young so who knows in 10 years time)
