Testicular atrophy...dose related?

at 1100mg a week and on for 5 months my nuts are the exact same size they have been always, not that big. what they don't do anymore is get that plump look when its been a few days since i blow a load. i know im shut down, but just saying, we may all just be different..

I didn't say "suppressed", I said "shut down." For the life of me I can't understand why people keep confusing the two.

100 mgs is not enough to produce 900 ngs a week on its own. My LH is low, but not zero. Of course, I'm suppressed and if I went off my T would probably be around 200. If I were shut down my nuts would be raisons and they're quite normal thank you.

Even when on HRT, I think it's good for the body to at least attempt to produce some T on its own. Same with thyroid. I've been on the same low dose thyroid for years whereas others keep going higher and higher. That means my body may need the extra support but it compensates with some of its own as opposed to needed more and more external help.

Well really surpressed, shut down either way were talking neglibile to none of T produced naturally. I understand the difference but for the point of our discussion I don't think it's relevant and I will attemp to explain below.

My point is that I respectfully disagree that 100mgs/week over an extended period will in fact not shut you down. I believe it would. In normal men testosterone is produced naturally at somewhere between 4-8mgs/day and perhaps as high as 10 in younger guys who are exceptionally lucky. This would then give them serum T levels in the range your quoting (upper normal). So at say 70mgs of natty T produced weekly why then would an exogenous inject of 100mgs/weekly not shut you down seeing as your beyond what your body would be producing under normal conditions.

I completely agree with your thoughts on having the body "act" as normal as possible and have it produce some T on it's own and why I am such a big proponent of HCG use on cycle for this very reason.

Anyways I am not attempting to be argumentative here but I am inquisitive and I am at this time just not grasping your view point given my thoughts above.
