Test Prop Conversion

I just made my first batch of homebrew test prop. I filtered it and heated it. When i took it out of the oven it was a clear yellow but once it cooled it turned to a white milky color but i didn't see any precipatation forming once it cooled.

Do i need to add more BA, i went with 5% ? final product was 50ml @ 100mg/ml

One more question, will the BA not kill all bacteria without heating it ?

I ask because i'm impatient and took a shot in the quad yesterday. It's sore but not sore enough to prevent me from doing anything, working out, etc...

Worst case, how long would an infection take to set up ?

An infection will take a good 5d to show for sure. Prop hurts! I'm whining about this same thing in another thread. I will never do it in the quad again! This is the worst pain I've ever had!!!!! Infection: reddness, sore, tender to the touch, fever, swollen, warm to the touch.

I have 133mg/ml 4% BA, 4% BB....Believe it or not, it's the BB that irritates me.

This isn't my first go around with homebrew juice and I may be just paranoid but I can feel heat through my pants around the injection site. I'm not experiencing any other symptoms besides soreness. It's been less than 24 hours since the injection.

What temp did you bake it? You really dont need to bake prop. I didnt bake mine and it came out fine. But mine didnt look yellow either, its nice and clear oil.

If you baked it and sterile filtered it, why are you worried about an infection?

You dont need to heat it b/c it is sterile after it has been filtered and put in the BA. You bake fina mainly to oxidize the methyl cellulose, but this also serilizes it even further as a side effect. The syno doesnt have anything insouble left after you get out the estrogen, only pure prop.

Any case i heated my finished product again and it came out a clear light yellow but again turned cloudy. I have about 150 more ml to convert, i guess i will just play with my recipe a little.

Oh, ok. Is there anyway you could of gotten water into the solution, I think that would make it cloudy and when you bake it, the water will evaporate out the the solution and as it condenses it will go back into the solution and turn it cloudy maybe. Just an idea.

All injections will feel warm to the touch right after the injection and for a few hours you are introducing a foreign substance into your body and it will react by sending more blood to the area i freaked first time, if it continues or develops ANY of the other symptoms get your ass into a Doc. You don't want an infection it sucks. As far as cloudy could be water post it on the plat Chemistry board, Andy or the others might be able to work it out for you.

ahh. that is a possiblity.

I was warming it in hot water to make it easier to push through the filter and the cap popped off. It's possible a few drops got in there.

Would it be possible to take the top off the vial and heat it in the over to let the water vapor escape ?

I think it would be sufficient to just put an 18g needle in the top while heating it in the oven...this should also evaporate off some of the BA so the injections wont hurt as much.

Do you know where I could find instructions on how to convert syno? Is there really much savings in making it yourself?

I made 200mls of 100mg/ml I use 20%bb and 1%BA. didn't crash and the stuff is perfect. absolutley no pain other than the post shot oil normally gives you.
