Test Injections - Does this sound right?

SO I'm not a doctor, but this seems totally wrong.

Long story short for the past few months I've been taking test injections at the doc every week. So they restested the day after ny last injection and it was smack dab within the "normal" range.

So, the shots are doing their job, right?

Well they tell me now taht they're right to not have anymore and come back in >SIX< months to have it tested again!

Isn't this like telling someone who's thyroid medication is working to stop taking it because it's normal now?

I'm just flabbergasted. Am I wrong? Is there some way a test shot magically made it so my body is producing it's own normal amount, even though the day right after a shot it still was only halfway up the normal range?

TIA for your thoughts guys.

sounds pretty stupid to me. how is an exogenous test shot supposed to make your body create it's own after it's been relying on the outside source for so long? it's not is the answer. maybe there is a flaw somewhere... not saying you're wrong or anything, but could have possibly been hcg? i'm sure you're totally right, just asking to make sure. i would be pretty pissed.

lol you should hop on a cycle and go back and see what they say.

Sounds like your doc is not an actual HRT doc. They would know better.

The doc that I spoke with said that HRT should be based systemically and that the test results should just be a guideline for dosage. So if you get on HRT and feel better then it is for you. Something else he told me that was interesting was a psychiatrist started getting patients on hrt and prescriptions for anti-depressants went down 70%---so it sounds like you need a new dr. Just that can be frustrating--I went to 5 different docs before I found one I was comfortable with. I am 6ft and around 230 at 15% bf so the 1st doc told me I had to stop lifting and only walk 45 min 3X a week because my bmi was high---anyway I dont know how much help this is but I woulf find another dr

yeah guys, I'm going to gie the doc a call tomorrow, give her a chance to explain her thinking to me.

Get an attorney.
