Another interesting side effect of Testosterone enanthate is mentioned in the bodybuilding magazine Muscle Media 2000, June July 1993 on page 45. Judging whether this is positive or negative is left to the reader. 'A few years ago, the Lancet Medical Journal of England reported that they found testosterone (the proto-type anabolic steroid) to be a remarkably effective form of male birth control. Researchers conducted a 12 month study which included 270 men and determined that weekly injections of the hormone testosterone were 'safe, stable, and effective.' They discovered that weekly testosterone injections had a success rate of 99.2% as a birth control method. That makes it more effective than the birth control pill (97%) and much more effective than condoms (88%). The study also revealed that the effects of the contraceptive injections were entirely reversible upon discontinuing administration of the drug and that the testosterone injections produced minimal side effects."

some say 95%, here it is 99.2% but never 100%. Therefore additional drugs are given in current trials like gestagen. There is a big difference between males and females though that might prevent hormonal birth control methods for males to ever come to market: A woman releases one egg a month, a man's ejaculate is from 300 to 500
million sperm, so even if you are 99 percent effective, there will still be
thousands of sperm and a single one can get her pregnant.

get a vasectomy. it did cost me $500, probably one single month of alimony payments. a worthwhile investment, i sleep a whole lot better now.

doesn't work, there are quite a few example on this board alone of guys getting their girls pregnant while "on".

For arguments sake, lets just say it did work. Women stay on birth control for years at a time. If men were to take test for 4 or 5 years and try to come off, do you really think they would be able to natty test back up after they come off.

interesting post though. I just hope noone on this board is thinking about this form of birth control.

Good idea thats the route I'm gonna take as soon as I can afford it. Unfortunately I have no insurance. I have one daughter and I think thats all I want. I always thought I wanted to have more than one, until I had one and realized how much it takes away from your own time and money. Not only that but, if things get unstable you have to put up with the mothers bullshit. At least with no kids you can say fuck you! and go home and thats the end of the nightmare.
