Test E Cycle: When to Increase Calories

If doing a Test E cycle at 500 mg/week (with 0.5 mg LiquidDex ED) when should one increase calories, as many have stated it takes 4-5 weeks for the Test E to take effect? Is increasing calories during the first 3 weeks equivalent to bulking without steroids as far as effects on the ratio between the amount of muscle/fat gained? If one is concerned about gaining body-fat should they be eating as many calories during the 3rd week as during weeks 6-12.

I would start increasing the calories gradually every 4-5 days until you hit your desired level (which only you know as everyone is diffrent). When I start my "bulk" cycles I always start eating slightly above maintanance level 4-5 weeks prior to the start of the cycle and increase from that point.

I would say to increase calories and protein by week 3.

If by week 5 you arent growing, your stuff is fake, or you need a higher dose.
 
depends on when you feel it working.If you are worried about fat gains just eat lean and increase protein intake when your strength starts going up.

Everyone else agree...For a rookie on a bulking cycle if concerned about gaining body fat (previously fat before losing bodyfat and gaining muscle with a regimented diet over about 3 years), one shouldn't increase calories substanially (even though eating very clean) until strength gains start to occur.

(P.S. Friend is not trying to lose B.F., just minimize B.F. gained)
