Test e and water retention pre contest

I'm a few weeks out from a show. Currently running -

750mg test e pw
125 tren a eod
50mg winny Ed

I've read that most people tend to use test prop due to less water retention but all I can do is test e.

I'm currently taking 0.25 adex every day and plan on running the test all the way to the comp and up the adex to 1-2 mg a day for the last week to combat possible water, what are your thoughts on this?

Also, when I take my socks off they leave a large indent on my legs, could this be a sign of water retention? I am fairly lean as am only 4 weeks out.

Lower, or drop the Test before the show, or up your AI. You could even do both. Diuretics also help. Nothing fancy, an OTC would work fine.
 
Test E is fine to use. Water retention is overrated with it. I don't see a difference myself. I use Test E up to contest myself and have no problems. Control your diet, carb intake, sodium and AI dose and you will be fine. At 4-5 weeks out I would drop the test to 250mg EW
 
Not sure if true but I heard water is retained in fat cells so as you get leaner you hold less water anyways
 
I doubt that is enough adex for that amount of test. I needed .5mg ED for 500mg Test C / week to control bloat. The indent in your legs is due to the water retention. It does not store in your fat cells. The retention is clinically called edema and is mostly subcutaneous - or just under the skin.

Im going to lower the test off your recommendation. The lower dose or shift in test levels won't cause any water retention or loss of muscle or loss of a ability to pump right up?
 
i think its a very poor idea to be running that high of test to prepare for a show.... i would be running a low dose of test, 400-500 mg week of tren and 750 mg week of mast... that's how you get contest ready... throw in some gw for extra fat loss and s4 to harden you up with mast and your set bro....

I agree. The bloat from test is overrated. Just lower the dosage a bit. I switched to prop for the last week before my show and I felt I lost a little fullness. And my cheeks cramped from the daily shots. Not a fan of prop.
