Test and BF reduction

Super Test 2004

New member
I was wondering if Using Test while training hard and eating relatively clean, high protein, lower carb, is there a potential to lose a lot of bodyfat?

are you somehow implying that test will impede you in the process of shedding fat?

potentially you can lose fat on any gear or ergogenic aid or with the absence thereof - diet is the key :o

True, diet is key. I was under the impression that due to the higher testosterone levels in the body that more mass would be built and more fat burned as energy.

I would say that relationship is true.

As I learned the hard way, diet, diet, diet. Eat clean and stay lean!!!

generally true many AAS induce increased fat oxidation (where are those infamous anavar studies about visceral and abdominal fat reduction), but diet will make or break a cycle :martini:

My first trainer told me that to do well it requires two halves to succeed in the gym. The first half is 110% effort while lifting in the gym. The other half was 110% diet when out of the gym. He wasn't very good at math, but the idea stuck with me.

if diet and training is in check then yes you can loose bf and gain muscle while on test

bust your ass in the gym and eat lots of protein

Right, in the last 6 weeks my waist as gotten slightly smaller, my skinfolds are smaller, but my weight is up 7 lbs, and I've gained strength in alot of lifts, so it is possible, however my diet is extremely strict, and my workouts are very intense. I'm using test and letro.

what kind of strict diet? i know this is not the diet forum, but seems like a good time to ask. is it really clean, high protein, moderate carbs and fat? what kind of carbs-complex(brown rice and oatmeal)?

I eat 70-80% fat calories, most of them in the form of extra virgin olive oil, flax seed oil, and nutts. 20-30% protien (Yes I eat less than one gram per ibs of body weight) and no more than 30 grams of carbs. I take in about 5000 cals on these days. Every 4th day, I spend 6-10 hours carb loading, and try to knock down about 600 grams of carbs during this period. I make certain that my fat intake does not fall below 30% of my total calories, and shoot for about 200 grams of protien during this time period. Once my glycogen stores are full I return to my other breakdown. My choice for carbs are modern GI carbs, primarily brown rice or whole wheat pasta, however I've been known to go out for pizza or other such junk food on these days.

Testos+Arimidex (or Aromasin or any aromatase inhibitor)+Proscar=DECA

Simple math. With the above ancillaries, you have taken away the estrogenic and DHT sides that are not apparent when using DECA. With DECA, you have to keep your eye on Progesteronic/Prolactin sides. Of course, these sides can be overcome. You can lose fat using either one. The effect is indirect: anticatabolic+protein synthesis=muscle preservation while dieting. There is no fat-loss diet in the world that absolutely preserves lean muscle. The closest we have is the low-carb diet.

If diet is in check it would only make sense. Muscle burns fat. More muscle means more fat burning. Proper cycling and diet increase muscle mass. Therefore, you can lose bodyfat while cycling because you increase your muscle mass which in turn increaases fat burning since muscle burns fat.
