Test 400/Deca Cycle - PCT (Nolva yes or no?)

Hi,
I've been browsing this forum and a number of others for a while now, but have never got round to registering!
I'm 23 years old, currently weighing in at 168lb and a height of 1.80m. I have always been an ectomorph but over the last 24 months managed to bulk out a little, but recently I feel like I hit a brick wall.
Now I understand a lot of guys on here are dedicated bodybuilders, but I will be honest from the outset this isnt what I want. I would like to ideally add an extra 10-14lbs to my current weight.
In order to achieve this I did a lot of research and decided to start a Test E 400 cycle (1ml - week 1 to 10) and Deca (1ml - week 1 to 8). Understand the important of running the test two weeks longer than the Deca. I also plan to begin taking HCG on week 4 of my cycle through to week 10, I am looking at 250iu's per jab every other day.
In order to achieve my goal I know my diet and training programme needed to be spot on and my daily protein/calories intake levels reflect this.
My only concern is the PCT. Everywhere you look everyone says, take clomid and nolvadex STANDARD!

However further research unearthed some unnervy opinions on the use of Nolvadex with Deca due to the increase of side effects to progesterone? Although to be fair, I then read further stuff which suggested aslong as you stop taking Deca two weeks prior to Test then when you begin the PCT you should be fine.

It leaves me wondering do I take the Nolva/Clomid route or do I run with a Clomid/Arimidex route? ARGH!

I am now more than a little confused! I hope you can see I am not some regular newbie who has come into all this blind. I have genuinely done my research, but talk about conflicting opinions.

I am also going to a local clinic in Manchester this afternoon to take some blood tests, I found a service that run these before, during and after your cycle to keep a check on your blood levels etc. Pretty cool eh? I'd imagine privately this thing would cost a small fortune. So I will ask for the guys opinion there also.

dont run deca on your first cycle bro.

A TEST only cycle will easily put 10-14 lbs on you , and you can see what sides if-any this will bring about .
bringing deca into the fold on your first run could leave you guessing as to why you have a new pair of titties starting to rear their head.

But before you even consider running ANYTHING lets talk about how many years have you been training and what your diet looks like ?

6ft tall at 168lbs says your diet needs some work.
post up your typical meal plan...i would say you could easily hit 180 lbs with a good bulking diet and the right supps.

I started my cycle this week so have already taken one 1ml shot of Deca. I have just done some quick search and a fair few people suggest not running Deca on your first cycle! Would I be able to discontinue using this right away? I wouldnt have thought 1ml would make much difference when I'll be taking another 9 jabs of Test 400.

If I drop the Deca it would also make my PCT much easier as a standard Nolva/Clomid could be used.

My meal plan has been pretty structured for a while. I've been training for the best part of 6 years, granted my diet has only been what I would class "reasonable" for the last 2 of those. At the moment I am working to something like this;

Meal 1 - Porridge/Omlette
Meal 2 - Shake
Meal 3 - Chicken breast with rice and/or potatos
Meal 4 - Scrambled egg/baked beans/tuna on 2 pieces of wholemeal bread
Meal 5 - Shake
Meal 6 - Chicken breast/fish/steak with rice, potatos
Meal 7 - Shake

I also make my own protein flapjacks and nibble on those inbetween meal times if I get hungry!

OK man,diet needs some veggies in meals 3 and 6 ,drop the shake in meal 7 and have some cottage cheese..

drop the deca...one shot is not a problem so forget about it.
just run the t400 solo for 10 weeks ...0.5ml twice a week - mon+thur or similar.
If you want to use clomid during PCT - 50mg weeks 12-15
HCG 250iu x 2 per week - weeks 3-10
Take phytoserms 347 ...weeks 10-15 ( 1 or 2 caps ED )
grab a bottle of hcgenerate and a bottle of unleashed - start both bottles in week 9 and run them untill the bottles are empty. unleased @ 3 caps ED and hcgenerate @ 5 caps ( split 3 + 2 )

I have looked around for the HCGenerate but everywhere seemed sold out! A link and discount code would be great.

I'm not running an AI yet but should do be able to get hold of some should I feel like I need it.

Feeling more confident about what I am doig now.
 
too many shakes man.. drop the shakes and eat more real food. I know you are in britain and the food there sucks but you need to be creative. put on more weight then worry about AAS. read my quote below.. steroids do NOT help you reach your genetic potential.. they HINDER it. so if you start now you will only be screwing yourself.

you are too skinny.. learn to eat and workout first. then its a great 2nd or 3rd cycle, I agree you might want to stick just with test this time around and go 8-10 weeks. deca is difficult to recover from even for vets, much less for a noob who doesn't understand PCT and recovery yet. once you master the test only cycle a couple times, you will be ready to experiment with deca/tren. deca is a great AAS, but once you come off it can turn into a nightmare, trust me I know.
