Damn I saw this plastered up on all the news websites this morning and my morning radio show was talking about it during my ride into work....

Amazing how the news loves to blow things out of proportion.

Butkus was great.

Butkus never juiced. He was naturally mean and nasty, on the field. He was like that in the Pop Warner League at 10 years old, high school and at Illinois.
He just played like he was on Halo. Arguably the best LB of all time, IMO.

I used Decca, that was the juice of choice. There was alot of Winstrol use to, being big and bulky was not the desired effect, so you used stuff that didnt make you retain a ton of water. There was a few guys doing test and dbol, but not many. I aint no name dropper or shit, but if you were hurt, it was strongly suggested that you use to rehab. All this bullshit you hear on the news makes me sick. As an athlete there is more shit put on you than you can stand. I played 92-95 right out of highschool, juice was everywhere and everybody knew it. To preform at that level day in and day out takes more than diet and training, thats why your starting to slowly but surely hear this shit come out in public, everyday its somebody new.

Dick Butkus and halo? Got in an arguement with a buddy at my gym and he thinks Butkus was juiced. I didn't want to believe it but then i watched some of his highlights. Probably more prevalent than we thought.

I doubt it. Everyone said he was crazy like that back when he played high school.
