Funny you mentioned hockey. I always had a love for that sport but living on Long Island kind of negates that opportunity to me. Football is my number one love. 9 out of 10 people think I am or was a football player. Basketball, yea right. lol. and so on.
Where did you play in New York. Remember any 6-4 white boys with crazy hops?

Not really. Well there is one out here that is 6'5" and jumps like vince carter. While in new york I played at local rinks and at the Lake Placid Olympic Center. Played ball where ever I saw a basketball court. All my teammates thought I was crazy. They were probably right.

Might have been me if you were in the NYC area. I bounce in and out of the city. I used to alot when I was younger and gradually decreased my involvement in street ball due to the risk of injury. Jealous people you know.
Your not crazy, you just have the love. You'll have the love for the rest of your life.

Wherever you go, whatever you do, when you pick up that ball, it will always feel the same. The palms will always get slightly wet, legs like jello, slightly winded for no reason. Kind of like pregame warmups.

Had to stop playing hockey because chronic knee problems but still go up to the park and play ball when ever I get a chance. Course the next day my knee is killing me, but its worth it.

Good to see that athletes are same everywhere. I love that feeling. I get it every single time I walk into an arena. Be it Madison Square Garden or a high school gym. I get hyped anywhere a 10 foot hoop is. Im coming to attack the rim and if you step back I wet back. lol.
