all compliments that are sincere are awesome, but what is your favorite compliment (or couple of favorites) you've received?
 
Used to be when people would say stuff like ''you're a big dude'' or ''you look great, good work''

Now I don't really care. I'm bigger than ever, but the best compliments lately are that I am a good father and a hard worker and honest.

maybe I'm getting old
 
When she said I have a beautiful penis...although it gets old around the 53rd time.

Few weeks back I was shushed in court and was feeling embarrassed. A lady asked my coworker who I was and if I was any good. I expected her to deny knowing me or mock me but instead she said great stuff eventhough she didn't know I was hearing

At my age (45), it's when I get carded for 21, or even 18. That used to happen a lot more than it does now, but it happened as recently as 2 weeks ago :beer: ...

Since I'm into cutting and definition more than size, I get away with looking younger by having a flat sixpack and wearing T-shirts & "young" clothes. ('til anyone notices my white stubble).

Maybe the BEST compliment I've ever gotten, was last summer when I walked into a small town cafe in Parkfield, CA, and the entire cafe got up and screamed and whistled at me. My wife had passed around a shirtless picture of me, evidently.

she sat down on top of it and she said (and i quote) "omigod, it feels like it's poking the bottom of my stomach" bahahahaha...i was like the grinch, except it was my head instead of my heart, that grew three sizes that day!
 
I think when someone says I'm smart or funny, because my man says girls aren't funny in general. Lol

Or Christmas, when he said how thoughtful my Christmas gift was because I worked hard on it. But you already knew that one. :)

Physical and sexual compliments are always flattering though.
 
Compliment gone wrong:

Last Superbowl, I was at a bar watching the game and this lady next to me was swearing I wasn't old enough to drink and was telling me I looked like a cherub. Umm, I know I look young, but are you telling me I look like a chubby baby? I guess she was just trying to compliment my skin. Weird.
 
The chick that I was dating at the time took this picture of me and Nasser. Said I was the hottest dude she ever dated. Which I thought was cool cause she was pretty hot. I dumped her 3 months later.

Nope. I wish. He was a really nice guy though. More humble than most pro's I've met. It was after his "come back" from the rear delt debacle. Mark Dugdale was a complete doosh so i didn't even want to meet him. And Timea Majerova's boobies popped out on stage when she was doing flips & stuff. That was epic. Of coarse I got her autograph.

From one of the kids when I taught a scuba camp a couple of years ago: "You make scuba diving awesome."

I generally respond most strongly to compliments that acknowledge something I had to work hard for, whatever that might have been.

First time I've ever had a professional photographer take my picture, too (it was for work). A generally more awkward experience than the end result would give the impression of haha.

It doesn't always look that red...it got some help from a filter and direct sunlight against a black shirt. But yes, I've never colored my hair :)
 
It seems like compliments at work, that I did a good job or played a key role, mean more to me than compliments about my hot body or my incredible intellect or my outstanding sexual prowess.
