Tell me a good horror flick

I got a date tomorrow we are renting a movie,shes saw house of wax,saw,boogy man and white noise,so any other good horror flicks sure to give a scare will be nice.

The exorcism of EMily was rose was a really good horror movie, for future reference as it is not out on dvd yet. I would go with exorcist one for the night, if she has never seen it before, i know it's old, but still does the trick.

If you just want boo scares, there's a scene in Exorcist 3 that will scare the living shit out of you (plus it has great dialogue/great acting). If want something that's more than just your typical horror movie, get Lord of Illusions. Otherwise, stick with a proven classic: The Shining.

Did you see Devils's rejects. Much better than House, and I liked House of 1000 a lot.

Pet Cemetary is a pretty good one. The mother's aunt of grandma or whatever the hell she was that ws locked in the room scared the shit out of me when i was little

I assume the date is over at this point. But still a good movie. I'm not a big fan of horror flicks but this one was definitely engaging.

I really dont like horror movies either. Movies like The Shining or Dracula/Frankenstein movies I dont consider to be horror....more like classic goth. "Saw" was kickass........not only scary and gruesome but smart too.....and the guys shot the film in like 27 or 17 days or something crazy like that (cant remember). Impressive.

Anyone on here collect the VIDEO NASTIES that were bannd in the U.K. in 1984? I have 21-22 out of the 39 titles. I am willing to sell copies of what I hav in exchange for mony or other titles on dvd. Shipping shouldn't be more than $1.00-2.00 (if the disc is only in a soft sleeve, no dvd box) inside the continental U.S.
