Techniques to resist sugar...

It's 9pm. Your diet is on schedule, but you're really hungry and craving that sugary treat collection in the fridge. How do you resist this? I know for a fact that I'm not the only one to fuck up from time to time. Does anybody use any thought patterns to resist? Or perhaps down some water whenever the urge arises? I want to hear ideas! :D
 
refeeds every few days take care of this problem. It works on a physiological level, psycological level and produces better results than no refeeds, unless u are using drugs. Diet for a few days, high carb/sugar refeed, diet again for a few, refeed. Currently doing this and fat is being lost faster than I ever have on a regular keto diet.
 
Glutamine is supposed to be useful for sugar cravings, a teaspoon in water should do the trick. Try it and see what happens.
 
When that happens, I drink a couple liters of water - enough to fill my stomach and make eating uncomfortable. By the time the H20 hits my renal system, the craving has passed 99% of the time.

And for that 1% that it doesn't go away, I either make a family member eat it, or just put the offending food down the garbage disposal. I HATE wasting food like that, though...
 
I think 5-HTP is supposed to help with cravings for sugars (check the search engine). And yes I have a solution..shut the fridge door and get some sleep in a REALLY dark room seems to work for me most of the time.

Man. That's a sign of a food obsession. You don't have an eating disorder, do you?
 
This fucked up girl that worked at the gym with me not to long ago had the biggest eating disorder I have ever seen. She was 22 and I am 20 years old and we would always talk on the weekends since she was the gm of the club. Anyways she use to weigh around 100 lbs and was real fit but than developed an eating disorder after an injury. About a month ago she weighed 170 lbs and looked horrible. She would hardly eat anything all day at work but when she got home she would fucking eat for like 2 hours straight. Her last week of work before she quit she gained easily over 10 lbs and her face looked like shit. So if your hungry at night I say eat a snack and don't be like this mental case that I worked with.:D
