Technique for massaging injection site?

I was just wondering if you guys had a special technique for massaging the injection site after an injection, especially when injecting something painful like test p.

I just apply pressure with my hand and rub in a circular motion while alternating flexing and unflexing the muscle.

thats all i do except i dont do it flexed.
