Last year I went and had front row seats and hung out with Marvin Ward and his crew, had a blast, but I had bought tix real early and didn’t this year and I refuse to sit in the nose bleed section which is basically all that is left.
FYI.. Marvin is a bantam weight, I think 145lbs, real short too, he wont he OEVRALL (a bantam weight winning overall is unheard of) back in 2000…..i sat next to him in the seats when he wasn’t on stage…nice dude…but looks like nothing….until…he takes his shrit off….let me tell you…unreal! He was 145 but looked 250….amazing.
Last year this blind kid Greg something won…amazing physique and the crowd gave him a standing O when he won and so did the other competitors and they also had a a group hug…. That is phat… that is what the pro ranks need, but those goofballs have egos so big they cant allow themselves to show any type of comradeship……..so insecure….
But overall the Team is a good show..TONS of female competitors.
One of my girlies I train with is doing it, and id say she has a 99% chance of winning since she has won so many big ones before, shes a genetic freak!

actually i saw alot more comradery at the Metros this year... when all the pros got on stage and joked around and flexed.. it was great fun to see them all getting along and laughing and flexing.. the crowd went crazy and it put LIFE back into the sport of bodybuilding...
i am looking forward to the Team Universe and seeing the talent this year...
