tattoo tip etiquette

i'll be getting a tat soon and was wondering what the normal tipping range is? i did a search and came to a website that says 10% is the min with 20% being the max. anyone agree with this?

I was told it depends on how they do. If they do a good job then overtip, if they do a crappy job, tell them and leave a basic 10% tip. I was told by my tattoo artist it's the same as a waiter. He did a great job on my work and I tipped him 25%.

Agree 100% with Ryker, if they treat you well and do a great job then tip big. If it isn't up to your expectations then tip low and don't give them any return business.
