Tattoo Removal??

I got something on my shoulder and my left upper back, and I feel like everytime I look in the mirror my attention is drawn directly to my tat as to where I wish my eyes would be drawn more towards my physique. I just slowly but surely at time regret both my tats.

They can be removed by lasers. This process can be costly and time consuming.

plastic surgeons can perform a laser surgery which should get rid of it, it stings like all hell since its cutting thru layers of skin but it works so im told. its pricey!

I saw something on the Discovery Channel, it costs approx. $100 per square inch to remove tattoos via laser

Laser is the way to go, but like everyone else has said, it's not cheap.

I know about how its done. Thanks guys, I'm curious to know about personal experiences of people who have actually had it done. How much it cost them, how long it took for whatever size tattoo they actually had removed.

Depending on the work and how much single pin work, i.e. black lines, will not totally disappear. A tattoo the size of a dollar bill for example will cost 3000 to 5000 depending on the Dr. Several visits are required, and some of the black lines will still be slightly visible. color work seems to fade out the best. Ask the doc for before and after pics andyou will get a better idea of what I am talking about. Ever burn your finger or get a blister from a burn/ same pain after.

I not trying to make fun at all, but did you get a sort of trendy tattoo that everyone was getting at the time? Have you thought about getting a cover up? Tattoo artists can hide and change just about everything. If you are still in to tattoos and just feel embarrased about the ones that you have, maybe you should go to a tattoo parlor and talk to an artist and see what he could do. Just a thought. Iron

actually your right on point, basically the sun on my back represents when I was goin to lallapalooza back in the day, and I was "oh those suns look cool" and I was 17 I've already made it a lil more tribal with colors, but now its thick lines and already a cover up, so I don't just wanna keep going bigger and bigger, the one on my shoulder is kinda phat its like a tribal celtic lady with her arms and legs all intertwined with some tribal around it but its already like my whole shoulder, I could continue to do cover ups but I just feel like thats a deeper and deeper whole, I have a pretty fair complexion and I just think theres a little too much of a contrast between the white and the black.
