Talking in your sleep

TheProject

New member
Vixenbabe made a comment on another thread that made me wonder...

How many of you talk in your sleep, and have you gotten in trouble with your SO for it?

I know I talk in my sleep, but most of the time it's out of context nonsense, so I never got in trouble for it.

Anyone else?

I usually talk about work....... I don't do anything that would get me in trouble....... and my wife is in all of my wet dreams anyway.

no shit!!! me too!

hey Project.. I got a new muscle car!! This one is already built.. it runs and drives and all of that good shit!! It is a 1967 SS Chevelle. It was a 396 car.. but now it has a 454 bored and stroked to a 496 cubic inch big block chevy.

LOL...that 80's song is what started the idea in my head.

dballer, I saw you mention your new car in the other thread! Did you post pics of it? Don't remember seeing 'em.

Still contemplating selling the '78 442, and hunting for an old one, but I figure I'll be lucky to get a grand out of it.

pm me your e-mail addy and I will send you pics.

I am not sure if you should sell it just yet. I might be worth restoring it. Here is what I would do.. get on traderonline and go to the classic or collector car section. Run a search and try to check the going rate on the car. Also search out 442 clubs online and e-mail them. Ask their advice on your situation. I do know that shose cars are getting rare. I would hate to see you get rid of somthing so cheap and have it double in value in the next 5 years. It is up to you.

hehehe....

My hubbies name is ***. I must have been laughing out loud and talking in my sleep. The name Randy(I do not even know a frickin Randy) came outta my sleep talkin mouth at some point during the night.

The next morning he was cold as ice to me. I asked him what was wrong and he says, "Gee, you and Randy had fun last night". HE WAS PISSED AT ME!

Geesh, girl can't even dream and "sleep talk" in private....

I'm really on the fence about this car. It's my first car, and I love it, but it's just not FAST. So I'm left with either butchering the original guts of the car to make it fast, which I don't want to do, or going another route.

The '78's are not common at all. There were 2518 made total, 2 different types. Of the 2 types, mine is not as rare. I've talked to a guy in Pennsylvania, and he's got a fully restored '78 that appraised for about $4700.

I know mine needs a little more engine work, a new carb, and a lot of body work. The interior's pretty good, IMHO. Needs some pieces replaced, but the seats are clean, minor cracks in the upholstery.

What do you think? Worth hanging on to for a while longer? It's not like I have the cash right now to sell it and buy a new one.

My e-mail addy is [email protected]. I need to get some pics of my '78 to send to you.

That is up to you.. but I am telling you right now.. you can make that car fast. It will cost alot of money.. and you will not be able to use the stock motor. but.. you CAN make it fast!!!

If there were only 2500 made.. I would hang on to it!!! For sure!

Well, the car came with one of 3 engines: 260, 305, and 350. I've contemplated pulling the original engine, but every time I talk to a classic car guy, I'm told to leave the original engine in there.

It's just too damned sluggish with the 260, and everyone I've talked to that's got the 260 says it's just not a fast engine.

pull the 260.. but save it. Then save your pennies and order a PAW motor. You can get a 500hp small block for under $3000!!!

Keep me posted on it! Did you get the picture of the 67?

I have bad dreams in my sleep a lot. Several times I have been woken up while screaming just to be told that it was ok and that I was going to be ok.

Hmm....500hp would be FUN!

I haven't checked my mail yet, but will do so tonight. I've also got a breakdown of the VIN on my car to send to you...kind of interesting.
