Talk about getting burned by so-called friends!

Sorry I'm feeling a little down at the moment due to the fact that yesterday I found out that someone who I considered a very dear friend, and who I thought would be a friend for life, and the one person who I trusted has been badmouthing me and making fun of me behind my back. Yes, I'm hurt and feel like I've been kicked hard in the stomach but hopefully time will heal this. Shes works at my gym and I see her talking to others(especially women)about me then, when she sees me she turns around and gives me this really phony smile. Funny thing is is that I have NO idea what could have made her wanna act this way towards me since I've been nothing but sincere towards her.She says she's a born-again christian and I know there are alot of passages in the bible that pertain to her doing this. I'd go to the owner of the gym and let him know(Because I think she is being very unproffesional), But she is very close with him and has been working there for 8 years so the senority rules out and God only knows what she's said to him about me but now I have a feeling that he has seen this before with her. Anyway, Needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Sounds like jealousy to me...
most people talk crap behind others' back b/c they are envious.

And God knows, jealousy is the worst f'n disease in the world...
there's no damn cure for it.

Yesterday I was approached by a woman in my gym who I talk to on a regular basis and she told me that my so called friend has been making fun of me and belittling me behind my back. I won't get intot he details of what she said but I can tell you that when I look back on when her and I were friendly, She was doing this with 2 other women in there, One of which is very attractive young woman in her mid 20's and she literally told the owner that she couldn't see why the guys in there were flocking to this girl cause she was just "amaciated". Well, when she was badmouthing this girl to me, my first guess was jealousy cause this other woman is very attractive and very fit. The other woman who she was badmouthing is also very attractive, fit and enters competitions. I just think that this kind of behavior is extremely childish.

Yes it is me in my avatar but I've lost about 30 pounds of bodyfat since that photo was taken so I really need to take some new pics soon. Well, This woman needs professional help cause I'm sure that her husband is sick of her crap and how would she like it if people were trashing her behind her back?

Well, After all of this, I think I'm going to keep my guard up from now on cause now I think I have some major trust issues. She was the ONE person who I thought was a true friend... I'm wondering if this is because she is a bit overwieight and Since I first met her I've lost my weight(for good). I had to look out for my health ya know?
 
some people have nothing better to do. look at it as a kind of flattery, she is thinking about you when you aren't around. looks like you are a priority in her life.......

Then she definetly needs to get a life! Hopefully the people in my gym who she is badmouthing me to will see through her crap and figure out what she is doing...Personally, I hope that the owner of the gym will too.

Time to start hanging out with people who are doing something _meaningful_ with their lives.

People who are just stuck in useless land, are the ones who find the time to partake in such stupid activities like shit-talking and drama. Drama gives them excitement in their otherwise lackluster boring shithole of an existence.

People with meaningful positive lives don't have time for that crap.

She is in her mid-30's and married with 2 kids and one from her husband's 1st marriage.

Ok! I came up with a plan...There is a large shelf on the wall next to the main desk where she works... I'm going to put up a few of my Victoria's Secret books there cause I know that alot of the men go and read the magazines and they are the type of men that love to comment on how hot women are so what could be better than the Victoria's Secret catalog books? Yes, I cut my name and address out of the back of the books. If she's pissed that guys flock to this one girl in my gym, then she'll really get pissed when she hears these men drooling over the bra and undies pics in the VS books .......BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Of course I'll make sure to put them right up front too. :chomp:

i dont know if the start hanging about with people thing was aimed at me ? but the only reason i said that was because in highschool when respect seems to be the most important thing in the wold, i found it hard when i found out ( the so called most popular guy ) we all hung about, and i was just Lee(tiny tanks real name) the guy that hung about with all the popular group,.. anyway, one day i found out he was talking shit about me, and i heard him . i just snapped, and starting smashing him. i got suspended, and never enjoyed school after that. i think that and lying , makes me snap .

I would speak to the gym owner. Let him know that you find it very unprofessional that she is doing this. That she is a bad representation of the gym. Let him know that members tell you what she says and that they don't find it professional either.
See if the people that informed you of this stuff will speak with him also.
The owner of my gym fired a lady that was the top sales rep for years for all her gossiping!

AACK!! I'm sooo not goth! Ewww! I'll definetly have to take some new photos. Actually, I may have exaggerated on the bodyfat loss. It was more like 20 pounds of bodyfat but I have definetly gained some muscle. Still not at my goal though and after seeing that Electra girl, I'll probably never feel like I'll measure up in that way but I'll keep doing the best that I can.

Honey.. jealousy does some crazy things to people.. friends or not. I've been there and stood my ground. Just wipe it off and do your thing.. you are hot and confidant and it shows, she's intimidated by that... eat it up :)
