taking time off from the gym??? do you? what are your thoughts

thinking of taking 2 weeks off from the gym and just doing pushups and playing tennis/sprints, etc...

scared of gaining weight though... any thoughts?
 
I'm sure it won't hurt anything. You'll probably come back a little stronger and/or more enthused.
 
I hate it....I haven't been able to work out with a solid schedule for about 2 months now :(

this sucks big time. My leg and arm strength is a little bit lagging, but my shoulder and chest strength is in the shitter

1 week would be fine, but dont let the weeks keep adding up
 
yeah you wuss!! lol
i took wed-sunday off last week and returned today, i did more than usual on chest day, felt great!

I take a week off about every four months bro. Your body needs time to heal up.
