Taking Gear from the U.S. to U.K. ???

AAS are classified in the UK as class C drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Its legal to possess or import steroids as long as there for personal use. But possesssion or importing with intent to supply (which includes giving them to friends) is illegal and could lead to 5 years in prison and an unlimited fine

This is what they say for class C drugs on the link you provided:

CLASS C DRUGS
These include cannabis, GHB, anabolic steroids and tranquillisers such as valium. It is illegal to have, give away or deal in Class C drugs, and to grow cannabis plants.

MAXIMUM PENALTIES
Possession: 2 years in jail plus an unlimited fine
Supplying/Dealing: 14 years in jail plus an unlimited fine
Possession with intent to supply: 14 years in jail plus an unlimited fine.

Guilty as charged?
If you are found guilty of possession for personal use, you may be fined or given a community sentence. For more serious offences such as dealing or supplying, you could be sent to prison or a young offenders institution

-Now I'm confused, am I right to say that possession=personal use?

bro--i wouldnt risk it--it sounds like you got a good job so dont risk losing your job cuz of a cycle or some stupid needles--remember they will detect anything thats sharp and is metal and they WONT let it on the airplane--i forgot i had 1 inch scissors in my bring on luggage and they detected right away and threw it away---be careful and think about consequences bro-----does a good job and money and security outweigh a few injections of test!!

Anabolic steroids are Prescription Only drugs under the Medicines Act. They can only be sold by a pharmacist on the presentation of a doctor's prescription. Anabolic steroids are also class C drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act. It is not an offence to possess anabolic steroids for personal use, unless they are counterfeit. It is an offence to supply them. Therefore police tend to arrest for steroid possession only if they can prove the drugs are counterfeit (and therefore not prescribed by a doctor). A small number of arrests and convictions are made on this basis each year.

If a patient obtains a drug from abroad then it falls under the importing regulations.
The Medicines Control Agency has stated that up to 3 months supply can be brought into the country as long as it is for individual use.

For medicines obtained abroad, the key issue is the legal status of the medicine in the country of purchase. If it is available OTC in that country then up to 3 months supply could be brought into the UK(as long as it is not also classified as a CD within the UK) and the person could be in possession of, and use the product without
breaking any regulations.

However although possession and use of a POM for personal use does not constitute a criminal offence, supply of such products is an offence and could be easily done. For example, somebody purchasing a
medicine abroad (UK classified POM) and bringing it into the country for someone else would also be committing an offence.

I think you guys are making this harder to answer than it has to be. "I'm not worried about taking a handfull of 250ml glass amps of test". They're small, don't trigger metal detectors, and don't have any odor for drug dogs to smell. That's the easy part.

I'm just trying to figure out if Syringes are illegal to transport in "checked" luggage in either the US or the UK? (READ: luggage that gets stowed "under" the plane NOT carry on bags).

Alternatively... Can syringes be freely purchased without a perscription in the UK at pharmacy/chemist stores?

Sorry got the right link for you now

http://www.multimap.com/clients/places.cgi?client=healtha

Put in the postcode where you are going in the UK and then with the second drop down pick needle exchange and it will give you the listings of ones closest to you

When you go you say youa re injecting roids (do not have to give a name) and they will issue you

Pins
Syringes
swabs
Disposal bucket

When you are done return the bucket with used pins and they will destroy for you

This is all FOC

I would prefer not having to sit in lines with heroine addicts just to get 8 pins for a short visit. So the questions still stand...

Are Syringes are illegal to transport in "checked" luggage in either the US or the UK? (READ: luggage that gets stowed "under" the plane NOT carry on bags).

Alternatively... Can syringes be freely purchased without a perscription in the UK at pharmacy/chemist stores? (Could one of you UK bro's in the London area just give a local pharmacy a ring and ask them if you can purchase syringes without a perscription)?

You do not sit in line with Heroin addicts really not sure what you imagine these places to be but you are very misinformed!

Also the first link shows you that most of the pharmacy / chemist stores in London are needle exchanges!

In terms of legality of carrying in your luggage i suggest you contact your airline but as you can see there is no need to transport.

Which part of London are you going to and will issue an addy for your local chemist!
