Taking Gear from the U.S. to U.K. ???

I'm in the middle of a cycle and have an unscheduled business trip that I have to take from the US to the UK.

QUESTIONS:

1. Is it legal to put 8 empty sealed syringes in my checked baggage on both the US and UK sides if customs decided to open my bags?

2. Assuming #1 is yes, would it I be likely to run into any problems if I just carried 12 amps of test in my pocket? (I'm assuming that this would be the best way since they wouldn't be seen by x-ray or baggage inspection).

In the UK it is legal to import prescription drugs for personal use (a supply up to 3 months). Keep it all in your checked luggages in your shavng kit and don't worry about it.

I'd say that's a bad idea, dude. You're meant to empty your pockets when walking through the metal detector, if for any reason you set the beep off, you could get padded down and caught quite easily. Not worth the risk IMO. In regards to the importation of prescription drugs... I'm pretty sure you'd have to produce a prescription to prove they're legit. If I were you I'd just buy the 8 amps when you arrive in the UK... hit the local gym

I didn't realise until a few weeks ago that steroids are legal for personal use in the UK. Anyway back to the point, since it is legal, can you not send them ahead via the postal service and then pick them up legally on the UK side.

And would syringes in and of themselves be considered contraband in either the US or the UK if found in checked luggage?

Steroids are legal to possess and Illegal to supply in the UK, You can basically get caught with a suitcase full as long as you dont admit that your going away to sell them. Pins are legal also. So dont worry about coming into the UK its getting out of the US you should be worried about.
