takin a week off while on

any of you guys ever take a week off (rest, vacation, business trip, etc..) while you're in the middle of a cycle? bad idea? hinders results? won't make a differance?...thanks
 
I don't like the idea of taking a week off while on, but sometimes things happen where it can't be avoided...The main benifit that I have seen from doing so is that I did come back stronger from where I left off. Either way, as long as you keep eating right (as per the goal of your cycle) there will not be that much of a loss although I would assume that the potential for loss of gains is possible.
 
Why would you take a week off while your body is at such an anabolic state?
Is there a specific reason?
 
I might be in the very small minority on this one, but I always take 5-7 days off every cycle, usually around the 6th or 7th week.

I find when Im on, I train so hard for those 1st few weeks that a little break allows my body to catch up on much needed recovery time. Every time, without fail, I come back stronger and heavier than when I left.

Just keep the diet on track, and get plenty of sleep. You'll return a new man.
 
Ive done it if I happen to get sick with a cold or something like that. take a week off to get over it. I do not see taking time off for other reasons though, unless it is some demand of your time that is much more important that lifting. If i feel overtrained, and I have got that way while on believe it or not, take the appropriate measures to cut down on volume or intensity.
