'Taken' grabs many viewers

"Taken," the miniseries about UFO abduction presented by Steven Spielberg, set a record by the Sci Fi Channel's standards, with 6 million people tuning in for the premiere Monday.

The number dropped to 4.8 million on Tuesday but that still eclipsed the previous record of 4.7 million set by Sci Fi's miniseries "Dune." By contrast, the network averaged 1.1 million viewers in prime time last week.

I found out they are going to show it from part one this weekend. I will have to catch it from the first part.

I've seen a few hours of it and liked what I saw.

oO(other than the flashbacks from when the aliens took me and was anal probed with strange fruits much like pinapples then put in a shower of crisco for the 4 hour rectal exam that was followed by an implant for monitoring sexual activity. I swear sometimes I hear my penis talk to me.....)

I loved the series.

The narration was brilliant, wisdom presented through a child's innocence and reflection.
