Take home testosterone tests?

How much stock would you put in a takc-home testosterone test??? They seem pretty legit and about a quarter of the cost of hospital blood tests.

None whatsoever.

It is a saliva test, which I think is only accurate for cortisol (if that).

Testosterone is notoriously difficult to measure, and that includes proper labs.

I am sure you will get a number from the kit, but that doesn't mean it is the right number.

not true, they are useful. I used to work for a doc that always used saliva test for hormone panels. In fact they are usally more useful because you measure cortisol levels all throughout the day as opposed to a single level.

Cortisol, yes, if it is used in the hands of someone who is skilled in measuring cortisol in saliva.

The home testing kits, especially for test, not that great.

why do you say that? They can map DNA off saliva. What makes you think cortisol can be measured accurately and test can't? I've read its actually more accurate. They are able to measure free test, bound test and weakly bound test. Serum levels from my understanding can't seperate bound and weakly bound.

They are actually more reliable than blood tests.My doc and pharmacist swear by them.
